TurnTwo
Predictions for this then people? I think Birminghams bottom end will struggle having never ridden the track also with Zak in the main body of the team
steven101
Easy win for the eagles i think with brum first trip to arlo, expect the newbies to have a fall or 2. Chapman didnt look great at the 4s ok track was dodgy but he may not do much either, ellis and perry if one of them have a bad one itll be a proper hammering. Eagles by 13, whether its with BWD or morley riding. Fitness test saturday for brad.
Alex2000
I really think this could be close I think Eastbourne will win but if Andrews and Mason aren't on it and Brad not 100% will it be by 5. We need the meeting sorted by heat 12 I do think that Georgie wood and Kelsey will win this for us in comparison to Brums reserves Edited June 17, 2015 by Alex2000
Brummiestormer
I agree Alex, Georgie and Kelsey should be the match-winners. They must keep calm and not have a rush of blood as the chances to pass in this league do come Especially at Arlington Sparrows by 12.
catinthehat
I think its going to be closer, I think it will be run close all the way, Dugard, Wood, will win this meeting, BWD will have a good one but we should not have to rely on him, Mason and Andrews will punch a few points in, the dark horse will be mattie who i think will get you 10 points. fingers crossed as Kent looks to be the next round and would seem to be easier then this one for either side looking at it on paper. uk_martin
This could be one of those times when Sings4Things will predict a Brummies defeat and will actually be right for a change.

catinthehat
birmingham have won the fours they have won away from home, won at home on wednesday, top of the table as well they dont get there for nothing? i think its going to be a very close one, I hope that i am proved wrong but you can never tell in this game, I see on the Easti website that the boys are going to have a practice on Saturday i think thats key to this league is to practice and put right whats wrong and with the way the team is at Eastbourne they will make sure they get it right. Sings4Speedway
Sings when hes whinging is sitting firmly on the turn two fence for this one. Ellis is in fine form at the moment and the Brum hopes revolve around him. Im not sure how Perry goes round Arlington but I cant imagine its his kind of track? The other key is if Chapman is riding as R/R isn't as potent with Zach in the main team. That said id rather have the points on the board and taking a narrow lead in to this fixture might just be enough.....
TurnTwo
If BWD is 100% i think he could beat Ellis round Eastbourne Sunday. Mattie Bates providing his equipment is up to it is far better than Alex Wilson. Richard Andrews V R/R or Sam Chapman seeing Chapmans recent form Richard is better. David Mason V Waj will be a tough one. Marc Owen V Perry if Owen gates I cant see Perry catching him. Georgie Wood V Parker is a no brainer Kelsey Dugard V Kirby is a no brainer. at a worst case scenario 49-41 to the eagles.
steven101
Andrews needs to find some of his early season form this weekend i think.
stevec
I like all this talk of a close match and as long as we progress to next round, it will be nice. I think its more likely to be an easy win for Eastbourne
Brummies_Ste
EASTBOURNE: Bradley Wilson-Dean, Mattie Bates, Richard Andrews, David Mason, Marc Owen, Georgie Wood, Kelsey Dugard BIRMINGHAM: Adam Ellis, Alex Wilson, Sam Chapman R/R, Zach Wajtknecht, Tom Perry, Harvie Banks, Adam Kirby. stevec
I think changes to the Brum team make them weaker but it could still be a close match. Eastbourne by 10 Edited June 20, 2015 by stevec
sussex bulldog
This was posted on Facebook Just a little bit of advice for anyone travelling to Arlington tomorrow via the A22. I have been informed that the East Grinstead/Copthorne area will have many roads closed, until 3pm, in the area of the A22 due to the London to Brighton cycle ride. I have been advised to use the M23 and avoid the A22. Might save some of you getting stuck in traffic hopefully.

FootieandSpeedway
Eastbourne eventually got through today but threw away a few points getting there. Main concern was the time to run meeting 2 3/4 hours not all of the Eagles doing but did we really need a 30 minute interval which meant it took nearly an hour between heats 10 and 11 being completed due to the green light failing after the meeting interval. Also can someone explain the Adam Kirby situation, he only took 5 rides though the announcer said he had 7, Birmingham had only 1 rider in 3 heats was Kirby excluded for 2 minutes in heats 9 & 10 ? as no annoucement was made at the time. Also thought each team had to have a number 8, Birmingham turned up with 6 riders and lost Banks after his first ride, so only had 5 from heat 2.
