stevethelion
Teams are : Coventry 1.Andersen 2. Robson 3.Klymakorpi 4. King 5. Harris 6.Garrity 7. Sarjeant Leicester : 1. Doyle 2. Ostergaard (G) 3.Walesek 4. Wozniak 5. Zengota (G) 6.O.Greenwood (G) 7. Hall (G) Thought Lions could only use a PL 6 pointer for Bridger, as the 14 day facility had finished, but seems Zengota guests so maybe they've had it extended. Gemini
I wonder if James will be riding? He must be pretty battered and bruised after his crash at Poole even though thankfully nothing is broken.
mdmc82
I wonder if James will be riding? He must be pretty battered and bruised after his crash at Poole even though thankfully nothing is broken. Would imagine he will be out a couple of weeks with badly bruised ribs, extremely painful. Looking at available riders, Bates looks the best option.
Woz01
James is on way home from the hospital, it doesn't sound too bad but perhaps rest is good considering Leicester are depleted. Edited June 18, 2015 by woz01
Dave Jones
James is on way home from the hospital, it doesn't sound too bad but perhaps rest is good considering Leicester are depleted As will the Bees, given the present form of HA & Robbo.
Gemini
I'm fully expecting Leicester to put up a good show with Zengota in the team and reckon it will be a lot closer than some people might think. Might be a surprise result here.

They both rode out of their skins at Poole last night!!

mdmc82
Leave off with the 'Harris and Garrity injuries'!! They both rode out of their skins at Poole last night!! That's because unlike some riders, they give 100% for their team even when injured. Look at Harris in the 2010 play offs. 👍🏻 Just proves the difference in attitude from them to poor old Maciej with his Belle Vue knee 👍🏻 exactly
Woz01
As will the Bees, given the present form of HA & Robbo. 👍. If Hans and Robbo can't get decent points on Friday they may as well give up!
Game On
COVENTRY make a welcome return to home track action with a big local derby against Leicester in the Elite League at Brandon on Friday (7.30pm). It’s the Lions’ first league visit of the season after the scheduled fixture on Good Friday was rained-off, and it will be the Buildbase Bees’ first outing on their home circuit for nearly three weeks. During that time, Coventry have lost the Elite League leadership to Poole but will move back level on points with the Pirates with a win on Friday. Bees reserve James Sarjeant misses the meeting after his crash at Wimborne Road on Wednesday, although hospital checks thankfully revealed no broken bones. Sarjeant will be replaced by Wolverhampton’s Josh Bates - a team-mate of Jason Garrity in the Premier League with Sheffield - and a decision will be taken on Sarjeant’s fitness over the weekend ahead of Monday’s trip to Belle Vue. Leicester have called up a number of guest replacements after a season which has been blighted by injuries and rider departures so far. The Lions are led by Grand Prix star Jason Doyle, whilst experienced Polish rider Grzegorz Walasek is just back from injury and gave a blistering performance at Brandon in the East Midlands Bowl back in March. Walasek is joined by fellow countrymen Szymon Wozniak and Grzegorz Zengota, the latter making a guest appearance against his old club as the Lions continue to work to plug the gap left by Lewis Bridger’s rapid departure. With both of Leicester’s regular reserves currently on the sidelines, the experienced Richard Hall is partnered by Coventry asset Oliver Greenwood, who rode for the Storm in 2013-14. Bees skipper Chris Harris said: “Leicester have been struggling a bit, and we need to capitalise on that and get back to winning ways. “Especially with us being at home on Friday, we need to make sure we start winning again.” The meeting also includes Midland Development League action between the Coventry Vikings and Buxton, with the line-up featuring former Bees rider Andy Smith’s 16-year-old son Jack. BUILDBASE BEES (from): Hans Andersen, Josh Bates, Jason Garrity, Chris Harris, Danny King, Joonas Kylmakorpi, Stuart Robson.LEICESTER (from): Jason Doyle, Oliver Greenwood, Richard Hall, Ulrich Ostergaard, Grzegorz Walasek, Szymon Wozniak, Grzegorz Zengota . If Hans and Robbo can't get decent points on Friday they may as well give up! I must say that I feel really disappointed in Hans so far, he has only had five double figured scores in 15 meetings, not great from our so called no1 Edited June 18, 2015 by Game On

Game On
Is it me or is there a distinct lack of enthusiasm for this meeting.
weatherwatcher
A close call this one, I hope for Coventry's sake that Josh Bates can jst for once manage to stay on his bike, he had a terrible season last year for the Lions and spent more time picking himself off the track than actually finishing a race. Not sure what it is with him not enough strength in his arms have been one of the ideas put forward by riders last year and they told him to spend the winter in the gym building his body strenth up, what I have seen of him this year he is still spending a lot of time on his bum on the shale instead of the bike. Zengota rode well for the Lions when he guested for them last time. SO YES IT COULD BE A VERY CLOSE CALL.
BEE 1
I see Leicester are without both their reserves tonight - can anyone explain to me how Leicester have Richard Hall at reserve when he is not on the fast track rider list!
