The Dilemma Of Greg Hancock

Recommended Posts

These riders know each other well, they see what goes on and meet up all over the world, you don't know what has gone on in private in the past or why Pedersen was gesticulating when he saw Hancock on the floor, it seems among riders that he has few if any friends. Other incidents involving other riders, have no bearing on this.

Where did you see Pedersen gesturing when he seen Hancock on the floor,I only seen Hancock running full tilt down the track at Pedersen.

One nice guy? Hardly, he showed with the actions and the statement he is not the Mr NICE Guy of the sport people like to paint him to be.

Had Greg done that on the street he would of been arrested for ABH and charged yet in front of many witnesses on a track he gets a small fine, this is not a good deterrent for young riders who may do the same to another rider knowing they will at worst get a small fine.

Disappointed in Greg

Perhaps he saw it from afar, Fromafar?

Should have said sorry for the physical attack and he did. Should have left it there. The rest is dirty washing in public. And the personal stuff towards Nikki is childish.

He admits attacking him on track and then trying to attack him again when Nikki said it was a fair move.

Absolutely disgusting and shows up Speedway as being totally amateurish and lacking in morals, if Hancock doesn't get any kind of ban for his behaviour.

Don't know if anyone has already suggested it, but if you want to see action taken against Nikki Pedersen by the governing body, then you should be voicing your opinion to SCB Prime Officer (Graham Reeve: graham@scbgb.co.uk) who will no doubt bring the man to task and ask him to answer for his actions.

It hasn't anything to do with the SCB.

Nicki is starting to get to the point where he won't reguarly win races and his actions will get more and more desperate. He doesn't care who get's hurt. He doesn't have the brain power to think far enough ahead.

I disagree completely DN has proven many times over the years that he's a master of reading a race and knows exactly the right time to lay it down to get a decision going his way.

It has become a regular feature of a Greg Hancock success.

We must marvel not only at his success; we are reminded of his greatly advanced age.

And how 'remarkable' it is that a 45 year old can ride a motorbike well.

Just like someone 20 years younger.

After reading his extraordinary statement.

I find it remarkable that a 45 year old could write like that.

Just like someone 40 years younger.

Lot o f pompous comments on this thread by people who weren't there and didn't see it from behind the handlebars, and have never hit the ground at any kind of speed from a motorcycle.

If it were riders like Jepson Jensen and Vaculik (for example ) it would hardly get a mention.

Pedersen got excluded, Greg got fined. They are the usual penalties for this sort of thing. Thats about all there really is to it..
