I don't condone any rider who is guilty of dirty riding. That's why I could never ever be a referee, its all a matter of opinion and I don't consider my opinion to be valid enough to having never ridden a speedway bike. I often agree with Nicki's exclusions however there are times I think he is excluded simply because of who he is.

To clarify, Nicki was excluded in this instance and I have no problem with that.

Can you give an example of when you thought Nicki should not have been exluded and was?

Of course he didn't drop it but likely it wasn't nicki's touch that caused the crash. Greg ran out of space and possibly his footrest hit the airfence.

likely, possibly :) sounds convincing, those top riders are always jamming their footrests into the airfence clumsey blighters

No because Greg should have realized that he had been passed and eased off the throttle.

Yes, that plainly shows he didn't have time to 'ease off the throttle' thereby going slowing his spin and going faster for that instance.

Do you condone Nicki continually riding into other riders?

If you think Hancock dropped it on purpose you've never come off a bike at that speed. Anything can happen to you

I think Hancock panisked and was intimidated. Since his crash last season he has kept clear on all contact and does not try to pass another rider if he misses the gate. He rides clear of the other riders to make sure he doesn't get hit.

99% of riders give Hancock total respect because they like him. They never rough him up but Nikki doesn't give a hoot.

I think we can agree that our opinions differ. The Dirty Dwarf is known for this sort of thing...Greg is not. It's about time somebody clamped him for riding like a bell end.

Utter rubbish. If Pedersen rode his bike the way he does on the road he'd of probably be up for death by dangerous riding by now.

You can't take what goes on in sport to the real world. It's far too separated.

Stupid to make comparison.

But, at the end of the day I'd still rather have Pedersen than Hancock lining up in my team. Hancock has gone up 10 fold in my appreciation of him though.

Love it when a rivalry spills over, brings an exciting edge to the sport. Something that's seriously lacking over the last few years.

Where do you get the bit death by dangerous riding fourtuanley Greg got up and comments like you've just quoted sums up what the idiot you are

Quite right. We have seen NP do this lots of times and it looks like he done it once too many as far as Grinner is concerned.

Love people saying Hancock clumped him.... He ran at him and shoulder barged him off his bike.

Fair to exclude nicki but looked a racing incident to me and ive lost a bit ot respect for pedersen for not getting up and giving the old man a good pasting.

Bloody Hell I missed that last night.

Pedersen rode Greg into the fence.

Not as bad as Lindstrom when he fenced the Russian but still a really dirty move and it could have ended the old fellahs career.

But what Greg did was worse for me and he should be banned for that.

Truly stupid actions from someone who should know better.

By all means punch the little twonk in the pits but that is without doubt a dangerous thing to do.

The ref is responsible for dealing out punishments on the track not Greg Hancock.

I am a big fan of Greg but was not impressed by that.

If you can hand out bans for the tricks Pedersen pulls then they should do so as he is a dirty rider and as we saw with Zagar a bit of a coward.

But whatever ban Nicki would get Greg should get twice that.

He was not passed he was level and this is from a danish perspective of if you don't want an accident just let Nicki pass and we can all play follow my leader and not bother to race him.

If they were level, how come Nicki's backwheel hit Greg's front wheel?

His name is Sundström and I agree that his move was far worse but many Swedish fans now yelling theirs ears off complaining

about Nicki, thought that Sundström was innocent and that the russian was the guilty one.

Cheers for that correction :) I was thinking Linback and Sundstrom at the same time :)

Just got back from Download Festival on Monday night so am still rather tired and my brain full of heavy rock.

That's why I could not be bothered watching the British Final and the Swedish meet :)

We all try to stick up for our favourites but Sundstrom and Hancock were completely out of order.

Nicki just did one of his usual tricks and it was nothing like LInd Sundstrom.

Nicki and Sundstrom should be punished but Hancock should have been banned for a couple of weeks

Just watched this. Utter nonsense all those saying Greg should get a bigger punishment than Nicki - he didn't endanger his life by wrestling with him! This sort of thing used to happen more often than now and given some of the idiot riding I've witnessed over the last few weeks may well increase again (Sundstrom, in the race off and final, Pawlicki and others). Pedersen knew he was there and could have passed Greg without squeezing him up but that's him and what so many riders dislike about him. I agree with an earlier poster, would be good advertising for future GPs to build interest.

And deservedly so. The kid is a liability and a cretin, wading into an issue that was none of his business.

Amazing some of the hypocrisy on here. People that thought Pawlicki was hard done by when he clattered the Russian god knows how many times, think Pedersen was out of line with his move.

The fans in this sport are now as bad as the riders, forming opinions based solely on who is in the monster energy botty crew.

I blame Monster Joe and his accolites for all this crap.

Exactly that! Some of the bias is phenomenal.

The Monster team stick together. Thats ok but Ward cant talk about endangering another rider when he was happy to ride with booze in his system.

I hope Hancock is in yellow and Nikki white when they meet at Cardiff. That could be great TV. Hancock will duck it as he wont want any contact.
