mdmc82
I believe the cut-off date has been changed this year to the 20th of each month!  Rosco still saying 'some big decisions to be made' on the podcast on Swindon's website!! With teams only allowed 2 riders over 7 when redeclaring, if Batchelor isn't under 7 now then surely he would be the rider to go as can't see Rosco releasing Morris. This would still mean being a heatleader short though and having to bring in another rider under 7pts instead  (Was hoping Zengi would be released so we could hopefully have him back at Coventry 😉) Major cock up from Swindon Edited June 19, 2015 by mdmc82
mdmc82
Why would it cost Batch his place? His average is now below 7 and the extra points allow Ward to replace Miedzinski/Kildemand. Â Disgusting. The only positive is so far no Swindon fan has defending it. Good to see some fans with integrity. Â Â Ignoring nutty from Coventry. She hasn't a clue. Batchelors poor score today and his "rubbish" meeting (or was that meeting wih the rubbishs?!) vs Coventry drop his average below 7. Is that for definite that is average is below 7? SCB
Is that for definite that is average is below 7? It's touch and go. The cynic in me says it's probably just enough - hence the two EFs. I make it a tiny bit over but quite a few of the figures I have disgree with official figures - if I'm one points or one ride out then it fits. Swindon are still potentially in touch with a play off position, and Darcy coukd propel them there which means he could then line up against the Pirates. On the other hand if Darcy went to a club with no chance of the play offs he would be available for Poole to use as a guest if Magic gets injured and with a bit of a push on Holders average Darcy coukd potentially guest for him as well. Â Just a thought on my part but no doubt a thought that has crossed Matts mind as well and we know how he likes to cover all his bases. Let's face it if Magic or. Holder were injured what better guest could there be ? Edited June 19, 2015 by E I Addio

With regards to the question about Matt Ford and Swindon, have you forgot agent Pedersen, Watt & at times KK? IF Poole & Swindon meet in the play offs then what would be to stop Ward having a "off" meeting to help Middlo & Co? If he could get his average below 7 for next season then imagine the team Poole could have. Big risk to take by Rosco

orion
Not sure if Batch was cheated or not like night but knowing Rosco I know he would have nothing to do with it. it's just not him ...of course you could look at that in a good or bad way . of course it's nice that he likes the sport to be run fair but I guess some may look at it that it's would quite clever and good for Swindon to able to fit ward in as I am sure many would do it . Â Please don't take that as a dig as it did happen & I'm not saying Rosco knew about it. And all teams that season had a number 8 would replace a rider at any time - perfectly legitimate. Actually clever tactics.
Speedy swindon pete
Shocker of a meeting last night. Swindon couldn't gate and the track offered next to nothing. Rosco having a stinker with the tactical too. Â CR's mate must have been seeing things if he was seeing Swindon riders being passed...there were only 3 genuine passes all night and 2 of those were in the same heat when Howarth went backwards. Wouldn't say definitively that Batch wasn't average lowering, but he chose a very dangerous and risky way of going about it if he was. Â Don't know what we'll do about the AM/PK hole but I'd rather not have Ward because of the conspiracies about last night and the baggage and Poole links that naturally come with him.

Good point thou yet again I doubt Rosco would have been behind that and plus that was allowed under the rules . It was the same in last weeks World Cup people moaned that Harris should have came behind the Aussie so Woffy could come in and take the joker but it would have not come into Rosco mind to do that . As I said you look at that sort of thing as a positive or a negative .

A ORLOV
Â What about what you read on the official SGB Web site's team declarations? Â http://speedwaygb.co/files/downloads/e15_issue_12.pdf Now see number 13 showing PK back in team listing, dated 18. 6.15 but not sure when it was released. mdmc82
Interesting words from Pearsen  @nigelpearson: Feel Belle Vue are almost certain to make the Elite League #Speedway play-offs after their win at Swindon. Good way to move to new stadium.
