stevebrum
They cheated to make themselves good enough for the top 4 ... Let's face it they were never gonna make the play offs with the team they started with.
thecoombdog
Let's face it they were never gonna make the play offs with the team they started with. Maybe not but with Ward in the side and away meetings at gash teams like Wolves, Leicester and Lakeside we will be in with a chance still. Aces51
As Belle Vue are their main rivals for a top 4 place it would be madness to have deliberately dropped points tonight. Â As the league table now stands, comparing points dropped at home to points gained away, Belle Vue are +8 and Swindon -5. That's a net difference of 13 points.
hagonshocker
I guess we will soon see if all of a sudden Ward appears in the team. Â I'm sure if it does turn out to be true then it will turn a lot of fans against Swindon as the sport is already in a mess but this would be a new low. Fans paid out their money to watch it tonight Oh pipe down will ya!! Why should we give a crap if fans from other clubs turn against us?! Your hardly whiter than white at Coventry are you poxy pot kettle with your Pawlicki antics ..end of the day as a club we have to think about our business which means getting in a rider to put bums on seats and help us into playoffs..end bleeding of!
van wolfswinkel
Was great to watch the racing from the centre-green, appreciate the speed, team riding, tactics, and close combat, looks a lot more dangerous! The crowd looks even more sparse, and the track half the size. What a load of bollox a few armchair/keyboard warriors talk on here... Belle Vue deservedly beat The Robins, all-round strength, must be in with a great chance of a League title, the first in many years. We gave them a well-deserved round of applause. Batch's bike definitely cut out in the first race, and it's sad when a guest is their top rider. On this performance not good enough for a top 4, radical overhaul needed. The crowd was only about half the size of the last meeting, great weather though, and the chips were lovely!
hagonshocker
If true then you're spot on as once again fans who paid tonight were cheated exactly the same as they were when Poole did it at Swindon. Â I certainly am not going to stick up for my team on this one. Â I also will not be cheering a Swindon team with Darcy in it. Dont go then! or do you anyway?....your far more of a whiner than you are on fb!...must be this cesspit of a forum!

Soon enough the BSPA would stop them having a facility - so better to throw one meeting now to get a decent number 1 than to win tonight but then be screwed for the rest of the season. If Swindon are trying to fit Ward in I suspect they are thinking more along the lines of survival and actually having a number one rather than finishing above Belle Vue.
Popular Post thecoombdog
Belle Vue are not getting the credit they deserve because a load of people who weren't there have decided we cheated! Masters was about 10 times the rider he was last time he rode at our gaff. Fricke quality again. And Cook looked good. Fair play. They battered us and it was 100% deserved.

dump that clutch
major gating lesson tonight, track too slick, you tried the first bend lick and went backwards. Fair play Belle Vue, thoroughly deserved the win tonight.
orion
Wow that was shocking ...first of all the track ...so so slick and not a water cart in sight I know the weather been hot but did I miss the news about a hose pipe ban ? .....Then no rider interviews at all and zero atmosphere what the hell was going on tonight . Â As for the team ..well North and Zengota were good. Morris and Howarth were hopeless due to the track and James Wright was the worst guess since someone invited Hannibal lecter to a house party for vegetarians only . Not sure what Rosco was doing with the tac sub ? it surely had to be Zengota in the heat before but instead he put Howarth in who had not beaten Belle vue rider off gate 4 with the unbeaten masters off gate 1 ! . Not sure if Batch was cheating or not but don't see the point of leading a race before having ef ..why not just touch the tapes etc . Fair play to Belle vue you can only beat what is put in front you but tonight there was not a lot .
stevebrum
Maybe not but with Ward in the side and away meetings at gash teams like Wolves, Leicester and Lakeside we will be in with a chance still. Â No doubt Ward will have a 'poor' season to go back to Poole with a new low average and Swindon will still stay fodder, seems a win win. Â And wolves were never going to be in the play-offs with the team they start with and finish with Be funny if we sign Ward instead tho. Or like Sheffield with ty proctor would that have been too complex for management to figure out?
Woz01
Coventry fans can't really moan! They got Pawlicki to miss a meeting so he could stay at reserve for the playoffs in 2010! But replaced by the number 8 and within the rules.
A ORLOV
The meeting was shocking from a Swindon perspective, a slick track, engines packing up for Troy and Nick and the obvious fact before the meeting started that the BV reserves would hammer the Swindon reserves. Â Congratulations to BV who deserved the 4 points they earned. Â Was the Swindon performance a way of reducing averages ready for the inclusion of Darcy, I do not think so because would Darcy ride wanting to reduce his average ready for Poole in 2016. Â Lets wait and find out who signs Darcy and then see if there are other top riders available.
Trees
If what folk think has happened has actually happened then maybe it's time for the BSPA to consider different team building techniques. Something like Denmark perhaps?
