Sheffield V Newcastle Premier League Thursday 18th June 2015

I asked this before - why r/r for Worrall?? why not use a guest who goes well round Sheffield?

we should be able to use guests for all those missing imo, surely we will aswell :)

We will only be able to use 2 guests and R/R IF we can have a facility for Ludde and Anton, surely? it's just like when teams have injured riders.

If a rider is missing due to doubling up you get a guest - ie Worrall - regardless of any other missing riders. Redcar got guests for Robbo when riding for Coventry, but ironically didn't get them when he was injured and couldn't ride for either!!

A lorra, lorra guests......

Newcastle have Richard Hall and Kevin Doolan booked in for tomorrow. Dunno who to replace.

Hall in for Lewis Rose. Doolan (I'd guess) for Worrall.

Are they the only changes to Newcastle's team?

Seems like a postponement of this fixture is the sensible option but if we go with Richard and Doolan as guests then good luck lads. The Premier league should be allowed to use the riders over the Elite League as our league is bringing on riders that will if they are good enough feature exclusively in Elite teams in the future. Why should Premier teams be penalised like this

I doubt it is a sensible option for a promotion to call a meeting off just because you need guests ! A meeting wouldn't be run all season if that was to become the normal way of doing things.

Anyway i am looking forward to this one as missed last couple of meetings due to work and when i have been able to go there has been no meeting.

Will go for a 15 point win to the mighty Tigers.

NEWCASTLE:

Lewis Kerr

Anton Rosen R/R,

Carl Wilkinson - Guest

Christian Henry

Kevin Doolan - Guest

Simon Nielsen

Richard Hall - Guest

Only 3 Newcastle riders are available hence 3 guests and R/R. I agree with Arson we will probably score more with the 3 guests

It does make a bit of a mockery of the Sport though doesn't it.

Before you ask - I don't know what the answer is.

Hoping for a tigers win.Hope all our lads are firing tomorrow.Need a good win to stay in the play off hunt.Expecting Hally to get 7 rides so could cause us some problems.Hes got nothing to prove round Sheffield but I hope our lads can keep his score down.I think Jack Lee needs to get the team together before the meeting and get them fired up.

Although I called the situation 'laughable' earlier today, our three guests' bigger track knowledge may prove invaluable at Owlerton. Cant see Lewi Kerr being exactly outstanding against Bjerre, but should take the others hopefully. A vintage Doolan showing would also be welcome and if Wilkinson can bring his early Brit. final form then he will be potent. Likely too that Mr Hall may have a point to prove to the Sheffield faithful. Would like to see another Ipswich, but a point would be more likely.

Halifax Tiger advised me to always use XC Weather before travelling, that site shows no rain, the only thing that could have spoiled what promises to be an exciting match tonight.

I'll be there, if only to see Mr. Hall doing his very best to pee on Sheffield fireworks.
