scotchopper
I prefer the +/- approach where you subtract dropped points at home from points gained away. It doesn't tell the full story as you may have raced the better teams already but I think it is the closest to a level playing field M +/- 1 Edinburgh 16 16 2 Glasgow 18 16 3 Peterborough 16 14 4 Somerset 14 10 5 Sheffield 17 7 6 Plymouth 14 3 7 Ipswich 18 2 8 Workington 13 0 9 Rye House 14 -3 10 Berwick 14 -7 11 Newcastle 16 -9 12 Redcar 14 -9 13 Scunthorpe 16 -12 Edited August 1, 2015 by scotchopper

MANSE
I will try to explain Steve. We will pick a poor team as a example say Newcastle. Points gained away +3 lost at home - 12 = -9 At present they have raced 9 home meetings =27 ponts -9 =18 points as per league table
Arson fire
Think in the past He( barrow boy) has said he has his own formula and awards points for different heats, ie you score more for winning heat 13 than you do heat 2.... So its just his own made up version of something really, why he needs to put it on here is puzzling though, as its not a reflection of anything other than a made up formula and serves no purpose to anyone bar him.... Time and too much of Edited August 12, 2015 by Arson fire
TheScotsman
I think it's much more useful than just the basic averages since the harder rides have extra value. I would like to see the table extended beyond just the top 10.
Nutz
Agreed in the Team table... Edinburgh should be +25 Ipswich should be +2 and also Berwick should be -
