TheScotsman
Congratulations Edinburgh, we were eaten by the better team. Monarchs totally raised their game today. Yum yum it was tasty.
Jonimac
Well done Edinburgh. Quite a comeback from Friday. Only followed it online as I couldn't attend. Did the monarchs really raise their game? Or was ours left in Edinburgh on Friday night ? Even prior to today, there have been warning signs that problems need addressing. Shame we couldn't find out who this new rider is. With these sort of results, it better be Darcy Ward ! And what was Cook up to after heat 13. Did he really attempt a headbutt on Lawson? DJEuan
Glasgow and Edinburgh are two class teams, how brilliant would it be for the PL to have them race each other come the Play Off decider. It would make for the liveliest thread on here anyway. Personally i don't think we're as good as some people think we are. Lioness
You have to hand it to the Monarchs, they said they would bounce back and they seem to have done it in style!
Young51
Were have we heard that before and it came back to spectacularly bite you on the erse. To quote your good self about the match on Friday Gaz.."A routine and expected victory" Absolutely brilliant from the Blue & Gold today that showed great character..this more than makes up for the slight hump at the Dump on friday eh George M? I'll have a wee celebratory swally and end with this for now ..
Arson fire
Shows the quality of a good team to bounce back like that.
dontforgetthefueltapsbruv
Excellent win for the Monarchs. As Arson said - the ability to show the backbone to hit back after a poor result is the sign of a good side. Tigers need to show the same next time out.... Monarchlad
Where's Paulco?..after his crap remarks about Cookie.....it's funny how if Cookie and Lawson were supposed to be going fighting in his opinion, when the Lawson family let Cookie practice on their track regularly.........they are Mates in the real world.... george.m
Ah well, the tapes worked today. That and Rich Lawson's form the only positives from a Tiger's point of view. Can't take anything away from the Monarchs .. they bounced back from Friday night and out gated and out fought us. Perhaps Facecook taking it a bit too far though. With a guest for No1 rider and R/R for another it was always going to need our guys to dig deep and I'm afraid to say some just didn't turn up. Congrats to Edinburgh and enjoy your win. Youngy ... all I'd say in reply, is that you're used to beating us at Cashfield regularly (justifiably) but for a wee team like us to beat the Champions and some of their smug supporters (not yourself nor most on here) on their own trick track means much more to us than your win today will ever mean to a smug. No matter what happens between our teams in the future we'll still always have ... THE HUMP AT THE DUMP!!

Gazc
Well how unpredictable is this sport after Friday we should have been on a high but all the credit goes to the Monarchs today if we outfought & outgated them on Friday then the same must be said for the Monarchs today only Rich for us looked likely to trouble them. So through gritted teeth Congrats to the Monarchs today but i am sure we will bounce back for whatever reason we just were not on it today Lawson apart One last thing as much as Cook is a talented rider he really needs to grow up his antics in heat 13 were poor at best and needs to show the same class to his opponents as he does on track but this does not deter from a deserved Monarchs victory & well done to them on bouncing back after Friday we must do the same now if we are to be regarded as serious contenders. Suprisingly it's your bottom that got felt. Didn't see much off you on Friday but your smart reply shows your true class or lack off it in your case.

Yep i can take that totally deserved it today m8 at least you have some class about you unlike your fellow armchair fan who only shows face to make smart*se comments but enjoy your celebration until the next time. What happened in heat 13? Cook tried to headbutt Lawson after the race can never understand why you try to headbutt someone wearing a crash helmet defeats the purpose. Mr Blobby
TEAM SMUG are back in business. i think Lawson is still out there just now trying to catch cookie. Never mind hump at the dump, if you wanted to see a proper humping Ashfield was the place to be today, Imaging not being able to score 40 points at home. Come on where is everyone today? people were very quick to have a go at us on Friday.
DavyH
Well done to the Mighty Monarchs, a great result after Friday's performance. The Smugness wasn't away for long . Well done to the Tigers fans on here for the congratulations, maybe the tone will change later after a few shandies lol
Fenway Bleachers
Get in there Bleaching at the Stade de la Weegie Feared the worst but hats off to the champs wonderful effort and big hand for Max Clegg... Clearly friction between Cookie and Lawson maybe the latter struggled with today after being the cats whiskers on Friday. of course I'm going to defend Cookie who was sublime. Pity Dickie didn't join us on the parade for he so loved it on Friday. Stewart Dickson milked it on Friday but hey son your boys took a helluva beating.... Thanks to all sensible Weegie fans on here I know your pain after a dose of it on Friday Fair makes for an interesting season though doesn't it? See you in the cups and both venues should be bursting SKY where are you ?

Surely Lawson started that with Cook though? He got beat what looked fairly to me but then didn't seem happy after the race, Cook always seems to react a bit to things like that but it was nothing but a bit of handbags.
Mr Blobby
What happened in heat 13? Lawson wasn't happy about something don't know what and started chucking his bike at craig after the race had a few words before craig made a head butting motion towards Lawson. Sam then moved Lawson away and that was that. Added a bit of spice to the derby witch was good to see.
