2ndbendbeerhut
Jokesport from top to bottom.... why should tv bend over backwards to replace other events that will be on? Imagine if you are a fan of the Le Mans 24 hours and switch on quest or eurosport only to find its replaced by speedway!
Jacques
Teeing off around lunchtime, then home for dinner and the final on Eurosport HD at 7pm. Rather do that than watch it live on a non HD channel... Yeh, it works for me too. I'd prefer to see it live on TV. But highlights will do . Now just to avoid the result!
TheReturn
Yes. Been in touch with Eurosports and Quest. Not expecting an answer though. Rain-offs are always a possibility in live sport. Sky would have a back-up plan as we've seen in the past with rained-off GPs It was on the red button a few times with Sky... And people still moaned. Be realistic folks, Eurosport and Sky will not drop other popular live sports for speedway. Perhaps it's just bad luck the SWC is on Sunday with so much other live sports on.

Sky would have a back-up plan as we've seen in the past with rained-off GPs I had an auto reply but in all fairness didn't expect much else last night. Programme planners obviously don't sit waiting on a Saturday night. Hopefully many people emailed etc so on Monday they will see there is a demand and plan appropriately in future. Sky to be fair have more channels available plus red button so would find it easier to fit a rain off in. Plus more importantly it costs a helluva lot more. Highlights will do for me, I'd have preferred less of a delay so being away from the result would be easier but hey who cannot do without social media for six hours if not knowing the result is important?
ytsejam
Uhmm..because Quest +1 is purely a repeat of what was shown one hour earlier!!!....they can't show a different programme than what was broadcasted one hour earlier!! else the channel would be called "Quest 2" rather than Quest +1 !!!!

mdmc82
It's live on Eurosport player. At present have no idea how much it costs but at least they have done something Costs £3.99. Disgraceful really when should be free as it would have been last night. We already pay enough for Sky or Virgin already without paying more. I will watch it at 7pm for free. Can't believe they had no back up plan in place when the forecast was always poor for Saturday
Star Lady
£3.99 is a bargain if you don't subscribed to Sky. bTW think that price you have to subscribe for a year. One off is £5.99 but I'm still reading about it.

One off is £5.99 but I'm still reading about it. I already pay a lot for Sky so not going to pay extra for a channel I already pay for. Yes it's been mentioned on Twitter that it's £5.99 if just want to watch this one programme. Everybody wants everything for free these days. I have already paid for this meeting by having sky. Now expected to pay £5.99. Joke

How much would flying to Denmark cost you? How much would a SWC ticket cost you? Personally being a cheapskate armchair fan I'll wait until 7pm and watch as live.
mdmc82
Eurosport is not Sky! How much would flying to Denmark cost you? How much would a SWC ticket cost you?You are so missing the point. Yesterday those of us that pay for Sky or Virgin could watch it for free. Yet today we are meant to pay for it because BSI didn't have a back up plan. I'm going to NL fours so will record it later but my grandad wanted to watch it live. Has no laptop etc only TV to watch it on. Edited June 14, 2015 by mdmc82

Whether they should include a clause that they have to show it without extra charge is another matter, but to be honest I doubt BSI care once they have got the dosh.
hagonshocker
Everybody wants everything for free these days. In this instance Eurosport should supply it for free! Considering they arent making much effort otherwise
TheReturn
In this instance Eurosport should supply it for free! Considering they arent making much effort otherwise It's choice though. Want it, pay, don't want to pay, don't get. I pay for the full Sky Sports package, yet don't get the big boxing matches which are pay per view. I choose not to pay, which is my personal choice.
mdmc82
Looks like Andy Jaye is getting a load of earache on twitter "Guys, all I've done is relay how you can watch the SWC final. Not my call how or where it's shown. Wd prefer it if you didn't have a go." Really wrong for people to have a go at Andy or Scott as they have no say over TV showings. Eurosport are now saying it will just be highlights at 7pm. Is that to try and encourage people to pay for it earlier
thecoombdog
Everybody wants everything for free these days. I can't believe I'm going to do this but I'm going to stick up for her!! People who have the full sky package to include Eurosport pay enough money each month. This meeting would normally be available on one of the channels we pay for so why is it unfair to expect to be able to watch the final somewhere without an additional 6 quid charge? Yeah it's only 6 quid but it's the principal.
Star Lady
We know Eurosport is not Sky, but if you have the full Sky Sports package then Eurosport HD, Eurosport HD2 and Eurosport SD are included in the Sky Sports package price. Therefore already paying for Eurosport or Eurosport is free. For accuracy I believe Eurosport is part of the variety bundle

Fair enough but if May vs Pac was free on the Sat night but postponed 24 hours and then put on PPV you wouldn't be happy. Like you say it's choice at the end of the day. I have the full sports package, box nation and racing UK so I'm not shy when it comes to subscriptions! You have to draw the line somewhere though.
