they should have left the covers on right up to the last moment -why water the track ? Why was no one capable of making a dissicion to call this meeting off ? Too right I'm upset how fans who travel to these events get such a raw deal when things go wrong as they did tonight - those who say get a grip clearly hasn't even traveled to Cardiff let alone to an over seas event . Get a grip arm chair TV viewer is my guess .

The bottom line was that the meeting was always going to be called off due to rain, it never matter at what time they took the covers off ...just because you went and spent good money nothing was not going to change that ...you went to a meeting that got called off because it rain it's hardly a raw deal

get a grip you are a joke making a comment like that - we was in the stadium having spent hard earned cash to go to this meeting only to see track covers taken off well before start time not only that they watered the track and moments later it started to rain -so the last thing I want to hear is comments like you just made .

How about - What do you expect if you go to a BSI meeting?

I have spent best part of 24 hours travelling on a bus to the last ever World Final in Vojens. I have done a full home and away season following my team for a fair few seasons.

So that's your theory out the window.

And? Polish speedway had months to re-arrange fixtures once BSI announced the dates.

really ?? Vojens last World Final was 19?? Clearly not a Gp traveler or a World Cup traveller so I stand by what I say arm chair viewer Edited by Haza

So your saying that the meeting should and could have be ridden tonight ...what has being there got to do with a meeting being called off because it's been pissing down with rain ?

So you accuse me of being armchair fan, then when I point out the thousands of miles I've covered watching speedway that's still not sufficient in your book to allow me to have an opinion. So basically nobody on this thread is allowed to post unless they're there?

Bit of speedway trip down memory lane lane, we sat down and shortly after Andy Smith came and set next to us on the grass bank.

Check the deadline for the polish leagues planning (Three! Plus one-time events, test matches, golden helmet tournament), confront it with the abroad leagues riders ride in and then check when BSI have decided to run SWC in June this year (it had place in August last year an in mid-July in 2011-2013).

Bsi announced world cup dates in November 2014-Polish Extraleague dates announced exactly 1 month later-you are not doing very well tonight.

have I said it should have been run ?? How events unfolded no way it could have been run when cover had been taken off and track watered but had the covers stayed on things may have been different - that's what I'm saying - as things turned out the meeting should have been called off two hours before it was but no one seemed able to decide what to do toatal shambles from start to finnish .

I don't want to be controversial but why was the SWC Final scheduled for Vojens - it always rains there? It is famous for it.

Well having been there Thursday it was 20 degrees plus so that blows your theory

How could it be on today-it pi$$ed down-I see you have ignored my post 148-probably because it`s 100% true. Didn`t it rain in leszno one year !!!

It did and was restaged the next morning but most of the idiots on here think it only rains in Vojens and like me your one of a few that knows it don't

My point, as I suspect you well know, is that Vojens is a very dodgy place for the Weather.

Not idiocy - just observance.

Wow..

Ok, we get it. You're annoyed... we've all been long distances and had things turn into a shambles in front of us through our speedway lives i'm sure, but chucking insults around on here isn't going to get you far.

I assume you vented all this anger to the parties you hold responsible at the track did you before you left ?

Or did you just eff and blind under your breath, shuffle out of the track, then log into this forum to start a scrap ?

Time and time again, we get posts from people bellyaching about rain offs. This is Speedway, you take your chance. You choose to travel to watch Speedway, in renound wet climates.

You lost out? Tough Shi!t

1st. Dates of that happening, please.

2nd. So if we postpone league matches we do it because we like to do it or WE ARE FORCED to do it because BSI can plan those "prestigious" events for whenever they like to? Like the one tonight.

3rd. Does BSI consult the dates with the national federations or just simply inform them about those? This is genuine question.

plenty over the last 5 years- you must know that The Extraleague are always prepared to postpone matches see this example from this season http://speedwayekstraliga.pl/wp-content/uploads/2015/03/Komunikat-PGE-Ekstraligi-nr-15_2015.pdf -also see post 185. Poland have just moved 2 matches this week from Sundays to Wednesday/Friday-they just think they can do what they like
