Kent V Rye House 15/06/15

As a neutral spectator at Kent Kings I can say that in his last two meetings at Kent Adam Ellis is always moving at the start when the green light goes on. Last night he was warned once by the referee and got away with one rolling start.

I deliberately waited to post on here as I was thoroughly cheesed off after last night. The Kings look like a team who know they are under performing and the tension in their riding last night showed (Ben apart who was a consummate professional). Danny settled after trying to guess a couple of starts early on and did what was expected of him. Aaron did alright barring his unforced fall. Jamie looked a little faster again but is still not confident enough to press any decent passing opportunity. Danno was quicker but sadly this brought a loss of control, his gesturing at Sam Woods showed he was pumped up (although funnier still when Sam got to his feet and Danno swiftly headed in the other direction). The returning Adam had a mare, slow & stroppy. His fall on the pit ramp when speeding back in and then leaving his bike blocking others trying to get out was childish at best arrogant at worst.

Flabbergasted is probably the best word for heat 14. The actions of Chessell were appalling and he deserves everything he gets!

The positives....Ben, Danny & Jamie. The dust was kept down well despite the track being slick which suited our visitors (genius) and there is no match next week meaning my blood pressure might drop to normal levels before the next fixture.

Eastbourne can win meetings for sure but Saturday showed what happens without their massive home track advantage, they were rubbish. As for moving from Kent to Eastbourne I cant think of anything worse.

Of course I meant sunday!

We were rubbish because our team is best in Depth had Georgie been there in place of Mason and Bates in place of Andrews (God knows what's gotten into him) we would have done better... Not to mention the hole in the track Brad fell down causing injuries. For saying we are not so good away from home I think a 4-6 point loss away is much much more respectable than the 20-30 we got in EL last season
