Newcastle V Peterborough Premier League Sunday 14th June 2015

Recommended Posts

Newcastle

Lewis Kerr

Anton Rosen (Could ride or maybe R/R if still unfit)

Steve Worrall

Christian Henry (should be back after injury)

Ludvig Lindgren

Simon Nielsen

Lewis Rose

If Anton is still out injured its R/R again

I would have liked to show the Peterborough team but they were using a couple of guests for their home match on Friday so haven't a clue about their line up for Sunday. Their team will likely include Robert Lambert who came close to joining the Diamonds when Danny King came in. Interesting to see how Robert goes at Brough

Well, hopefully we'll get to see our full 7 riders for this 1, would expect Ulrich and Robert Lambert to score well, but not sure about the rest of the Panthers, their reserves might struggle,,, the Diamonds should be 'quite easy' winners, but you never know in this game :-)

So the teams for Sunday are: -

Newcastle

Lewis Kerr

Christian Henry

Steve Worrall

Anton Rosen

Ludvig Lindgren

Simon Nielsen

Lewis Rose

Peterborough

Ben Barker (Guest)
Michael Palm Toft
Ulrich Ostergaard
Lewis Blackbird or R/R
Robert Lambert
Oliver Greenwood
Simon Lambert

The Diamonds go into this match after an away victory at Ipswich on Thursday. I think the Diamonds will just take the points from this one but the Panthers may get a point

Will Lambert be back from Denmark in time for this meeting, you`d like to think so.

I hope they let him turn up at Newcastle's track and then tell him, "nah, you're on bench son... go fetch the teas at the interval!"

Apparently word is Robert Lambert is buying russian rider Grigory Lagutas van so expect it to breakdown enroute again

ive heard he was last seen on a pedalo in the north sea....

...tonights storms may well have set him back - could be touch and go to be there for tapes up. wink

So,

We beat Glasgow at home..... who then go and win at Edinburgh....

We go to Ipswich and win there...... who then go to Peterborough and win.....

And that's without the Diamonds having a full team......

Can't wait for Sunday.....

But its ok for him to stick two fingers up to Panthers and when fans respond were pathetic perhaps they should buy photos of him to remember what he looks like

Whatever way you look at it Lambert has let Panthers down big time,I doubt many Panthers fans will regard him in the same light ever again.. His only excuse for not turning up yeaterday was that the rules meant he did not have to.

This should please the Ippo bloke :D

C'mon Rodders, you know better than that: "PANTHERS team boss Jim Lynch has quit the club after a bust-up with his fellow directors. Lynch brought down the curtain on his four-year tenure with the Panthers after a disagreement at a board meeting following the absence of Ryan Sullivan at last week's match at Ipswich. The Australian withdrew from the meeting with a mysterious shoulder injury, just two days before he was victorious in the Slovenian Grand Prix (2002 peterboroughtoday.co.uk/sport/latest-sport/speedway-lynch-quits-after-bust-up)

Didn't do Sullivan much harm.

That's the bottom line and is why he got and will get the slack he needs. At this moment in time we're better off with him, even though it's not very often.
