Robert Lee
errmm....sorry, I'm a bit thick (it has been said) but what do the numbers signify? I think I can grasp the team figures - based on home / away points gained / lost? But how are the rider's figures derived? Genuine question to aid my education, although it might be a bit late as I left school over half a century ago!
barrow boy
Each race has a degree of difficulty factor. Points scored in a harder race comprising 4 heatleaders earn more ranking points than a race with only 2. mdmc82
Does anybody know how Auty has moved to 2nd in the draft when he has not ridden in a EL meeting this month? Thought maybe it was still using PL averages as well but then Garrity would be top as has a 8+ PL average now.

Maybe because Auty's EL average using the Speedway Star figures is 6.85 and Garrity's is 6.82. Don't know how accurate their stats are. Crazy robin
It's Newman Auty Garrity Kerr Wright Worrall Birks Blackbird What a surprise that Kyle is now top when that's how it should've been at the start of the season. At least Steve can guest if Charles is missing😀

At least Steve can guest if Charles is missing😀 That's what you would think. However on the occasions next month that Wright is missing, Worrall,Blackbird and Wilkinson are riding for their EL or PL clubs. ouch
Absolute certainty as Worral is second behind Garrity by 0.04.
SteveLyric2
It's Newman Auty Garrity Kerr Wright Worrall Birks Blackbird I find that amazing as Kyle Newman has been having his worst spell for a while - still if that's what the administrators are saying.....! Woz01
Does seem bizarre that Newman hasn't had the best form and is top yet Garrity has been doing well for Coventry and Sheffield (from scores I've seen) has dropped to 3rd.
waiheke1
Barrow boy - which of the FTR riders tops your ranking system ? Be interesting to see how that aligns with the "official" rankings. Also - where do Nicholls, Cook and Lambert currently sit in your rankings. cheers

Averages for the season so far (source speedway star ) has Newman ahead on 7.90, Garrity 2nd on 7.78 and Auty 3rd on 7.29. Kerr on 7.14, Wright 6.61, Worrall 6.81, Birks 7.13 and Blackbird on 6.53.
