Greaves Injury gives Cradley another excuse anyway

why do you think we need an excuse? The rules are rules weather we like them or not. Not all Cradley fans whinge about everything. Losing nathen will be a problem but, problems are there to be overcome.

Because 95% of People involved with your club can't take defeat graciously and always find something to complain about.

I have to comment on this.

Firstly I am a Brummie fan and not anything to do with Cradley. In fact over the years Cradley have been the team I most want to beat. (This mostly proved a forlorn hope but maybe this year.......)

I cant quite believe I am going to say this but here goes.

This year during our track share I have found Cradley fans to be mostly gracious and understanding of how speedway works. Yes they celebrate noisily when they win (Which it has to be said through gritted teeth is most of the time!) and yes they don't like to lose. (Show me someone who does.) But as a for instance when Birmingham beat them earlier in the season (After they tonked us in the earlier match :( ) it was refreshing how many Cradley fans came over and shook the hands of Brummie fans and saying well played.

Just trying to give a balanced view.

(I feel dirty now!!!)

Good news is there is sun and blue skies at the moment in Coventry 😄⛅️

I'm looking forward to this meeting and think the line ups look that competitive that it's hard to predict a winner.

Team change for King's Lynn

Campos & Hazelden are replaced with Josh Bailey & Ryan Kinsley.

Does anybody know why the change has been made?

Might strengthen them at Brandon as Harris was much better than Greaves in the challenger.

Greaves scored 0

Harris 10

So I take it that you enjoy losing ? we dont need an excuse mate as its rare we get beaten, I realise you are biased as you have a connection to a rider who Cradley fans had reason to dislike.

Harris for Greaves might make them stronger, well Luke will have to improve 100% on what he has shown in League meetings so far this season.

Winners will come from Group A, Coventry to just win.

Must admit to not seeing Greaves too often this season but whenever I have he seems to have difficulty in staying on for 4 laps. He looked a great prospect when riding in the second halves at Brandon a couple of years ago.

He seems to have spent more time off the bike than on for both Workington and Cradley. Rosco was quoted last year as saying it's the way he rides the bike but he wouldn't take any advise when Alun or the Swindon boys kept trying to offer it to him.

COVENTRY look forward to welcoming supporters of all competing clubs - and neutrals - to Brandon for Sunday's National League Fours (3pm).

The wet weather of Saturday cleared by mid-afternoon, and conditions on Sunday morning are dry, bright and breezy with a good forecast for the day.

The Speedway World Cup Final in Vojens was abandoned after just one race on Saturday and is to be re-staged on Sunday afternoon, with delayed coverage on British Eurosport 1 at 7pm.

There is no live TV broadcast of this event, so it's the perfect opportunity to catch 24 races of live speedway at Brandon, with the City Gearboxes Storm one of several clubs with their eyes on the trophy in what looks an open contest, and then watch the World Cup Final in the evening.

Gates open at 1.30pm for a 3pm start, and admission is £15 for adults and all children free of charge.

Eurosport are charging £5.99 for people to watch SWC live online so going to watch it for free at 7pm on Eurosport.
