Simon Stead / Guest Josh Grajczonek
Ty Proctor (R/R ?)
Ashley Birks
Jason Garrity
Andre Compton
Josh Bates / Guest James Sarjeant
Arthur Sissis

The Diamonds have been missing Anton Rosen for a few weeks and are likely to use R/R for him in this match. The Tigers usually use a guest for long term injured Simon Stead and will be using R/R for Ty Proctor.
Newcastle at home are a difficult side to beat so I expect the Tigers will struggle. If Simon Stead was fit and in their side he would have notched 13 to 15 points but without him the team will struggle. Guest Josh Grajczonek is a good rider but not up to Steady's level

Personally I think Josh will score more than Stead would have.

Steady scored 17 from 5 rides in his last visit in the Premier League at Newcastle last season, will be well happy if Josh scores more ;)

Anyone in a position to give weather and track condition updates?

We cancelled the training session this morning to allow Jonny and his team a chance of getting all the water off, and for the track prep. The last rain was forecast for 10 but we have just had another shower. The good news is that the sun is forecast for basically the rest of the day, so there's a good chance, given the time before the meeting, that all will be well.

Well, we are out of the cup- no shocks there. 'Watching' online, it would seem to have been 'a bad day at the office' for some of our lads. How long before Stevie gets the no1 position back I wonder? Looking forward to reading the comments of those on the terraces when they get back home.

I think that Newcastle have to be very concerned with the result tonight.

Sheffield traditionally don't go well at the Hot Dog Stadium, and to top that off we turn up with one of the bottom of the league's reserves who did not score a point at Newcastle filling in as a Guest in the heatleader role.

This should have been a stroll in the park for the Diamonds, but we got to within 5 points of them and to me that constitutes a result for Sheffield under the circumstances.

Never mind I am sure that the food outlets will have done well.

pretty mundane meetin in front of a sparse crowd, lewi kerr obviously not fit, sarj is the new Steve Schofield, and we need to do something to change our team to make it stronger given the available points we have.... The end.

wouldn't take much tinkering to fit 'the evil twin' in ;-)
