tsc1
Point 2 you are so wrong sky have no say in track prep And the track was done that way because of all the rain if not they would not have got as far as they did............
steveace1971
Sorry tsc 1 but Had is right with point 2, home teams have to be allowed to prepare tracks how they want it. You can't have an outside person dictating track preparation.
tsc1
As I've said tracks can prep the track the way they want to. Sky DONOT have a say in track prep. FACT..........

Then why were Coventry not allowed on Monday? It's been confirmed that they couldn't even by Pearsen who said it was due to weather forecast by yet making the track the way they did and still trying to sort it 5mins before start time didn't help. SteveLyric2
Yet Havvy, when interviewed at the start of the meeting, said quite clearly that Terry - the regular trackman - had worked tirelessly all day to get the track fit to race!!? Â That probably meant getting it fairly slick so that it could take a bit of rain, but when the Bees riders did their track walk around 6.15pm they saw it wasn't to their liking and got Terry to put some of the shale back and to churn up the starts - just before it started raining!!! mdmc82
 Is Horton doing a Horner? No but losing £10,000 due to that farce can't be easy
CB252
So some good could come out of this farce after all. Â Weekly PL speedway? Yes please.
Woz01
The staff was under instruction from GoSpeed on the track prep. So yes the track staff worked on the track but was told how to do it.

You've got to prepare the track to suit conditions. When you have a forcast like they had you cannot put bowsers loads of water down, you prepare the track to get the meeting ON, that comes first and formost. If however he chooses to walk away I'm not sure any other (potential) promoter would agree to take it on with such a short lease agreement. Very sad situation. Â Doubtless more info on this evening's 'Tapes Up' programme on BBC Cov & Warwicks!!
Woz01
If he has indeed lost thousands which suspect he has then I don't blame him. Who would want to throw money away at something you have no control over. Crowds have been decent enough this season but last week meeting will now likely mean we will be running at a big loss for the season. That cannot be right or good for the sport.
