Kenneth is injured. end of . but other fans seem to think he is avin a larf. if your hurt and you body demands full energy at all times, its extremely tough to ride speedway or any other competitive forms of motor sport. you should be glad he aint coming, then you can get the mandatory 60 + points up. love the wage bill at m/bra.

How many more Janowski / Hansen incidents do we need to actually do something about this?

He pulled out of his 5th/6th ride as he couldn't continue yet had still scored heavily in the meeting? I mean, really?

This isn't just impacting on Workington (who I feel sorry for) but also Edinburgh who are losing the gate with no Workington supporter's coach travelling north for this meeting... The Comets always used to bring a healthy following North with them but it's dwindled in the past couple of seasons and now has disappeared apart from those hardy soles who will drive up themselves this evening...

Comets also had a healthy following at DP as well, so if most cant be bothered to come to the home matches you've got no chance? ;)

Firstly hope the two young lads who came out in the 2nd half's are all right was a horrible looking crash.

The meeting itself was very boring with almost no passing and races quite spread out. Credit to some of the comets tho, Wells always rides the track well and Pijper and Bach chipped in a few good races. Also nice to see Wethers back on track and a wee win to hopefully boost his confidence.

The Monarchs all scored reasonably well without pushing themselves. Tougher challenge next week with Ippo and real test week after with the Money from the West gracing us with their presence.

About average I would say. Expected a poor crowd given the opposition and iffy weather around the Edin area, but looked decent crowd on 3rd bend (usually a good indication). Nice to see some Comet supporters make the journey.

Well done to the Comics fans who made the trip to the 3rd bend to watch their team go through the motions. Take a bow gents true fans indeed.

Pity only Wells attacked the track, and why he did not get the TR beggars belief!

Not really, Jacko nearly always gives Rene, as team Captain, first dibs on TR's, very loyal!! ;)

Well, it was under 60pts so I guess that's a good result then, under the circumstances?

Still a very disappointing performance and current comments like, yawn, boring, poor opposition dont make very good reading, what it does say is that the Comets will struggle all season away from home until something happens to spark us into life?

What that will be is anyone's guess, dont think we'll see many, if any changes at all over the next few weeks so it's down purely to the riders we have to step up to the mark and perform better, especially away and against better opposition otherwise it's a low place finish for us this season?

We cant expect much with home wins only, that wont satisfy the dwindling supporter base, a competitive team is far more important!! :t:

Compared to last week that was emmmm boring, but we won again so can't complain to much.

if all you worry about is the win your not a fan off speedway

id be happy watching my side get beat if it was a good entertaining meeting

i always want my side to win but i go to be entertained

Minus Morris?

Could see what Lasse is up to that night! Looks like Sarjeant will be available though with 2 away matches next week it could mean he gets his average and moves up to the 1-5. Hopefully its Kozza moving down, though that won't be an advantage for us over there.

Thot it was Sundays meet he was missing? Altho now Friday does ring a bell.

Hes a big blow be it at The dale or Ashfield such an entertainer. Imagine you will get a guest rather than R/R, Theo possibly (rode quite well last night) or even Wells. Should be a good couple meetings with hopefully good weather and crowds.
