Super Blue
It will be interesting to see what sort of crowd we get for this meeting , the regulars obviously but will there be a few extra youngsters around given its a Saturday with no school the next day ? Im also now quite looking forward to it after winning at Redcar , lets hope the track can be prepared to suit our own team and we gain a few more league points ! Roland
Did well last night, hard to believe Redcar have actually won at home. Hopefully be as dire on Saturday, and to boot.......a change of team manager for us!

Baldyman
26 point home win. If they can't beat this lot they should all Retire and tarmac over the shale
Bear_Bottom
26 point home win. If they can't beat this lot they should all Retire and tarmac over the shale There's more chance of Mr Cameron opening a soup kitchen in No.10 for the peasants (sorry... hard working people of Britain) than Ipswich losing Edited May 29, 2015 by Bear_Bottom

Super Blue
Will the f a cup have any bearing on crowd? That's on tomorrow isn't it? True, it's a 5-30 kick off as well but to be honest Arsenal v Aston villa shouldn't be the biggest of priorities for the majority of people round this part of the world. I know a few Arsenal fans but they are not Speedway followers.
Baldyman
Yeah but that's one of the excuses that will be used for a crowd that seems to be already getting smaller each week. The rose tinted wearers of ipswich love a good excuse.
Pob
What's the weather been like back at foxhall had a torrential rain most of the day up in Cleethorpes today . Hopefully suffolk didn't get that in preparation for tomorrow night
dontforgetthefueltapsbruv
I think unless we get out of the starts a bit better we wont run away with it. Bjerre,Robson,Kus and Roynon are certainly capable of heat wins Expect a 16 ish Witches win.
Baldyman
So is it normal time tomorrow? So will it be back to slick boring track tomorrow or will it again be on the grippy side?
ZODIAK
Is there a timescale on Heeps' return? If he's out for another month or so I'd definitely look to get a short term replacement in. I appreciate it isn't easy finding the suitable rider, but there must be someone out there willing to help out short term who can cover 4/5/6 points a meeting R/R is currently covering. If a few of the boys are struggling, it makes R/R a nightmare.
BluPanther
Running on a Saturday will always improve the crowd numbers, but not if you do it on FA Cup final day...
spanner47
Running on a Saturday will always improve the crowd numbers, but not if you do it on FA Cup final day... 20 years ago I'd have certainly agreed, but the FA Cup final is well down the list of things to watch these days. Most of the teams can't be bothered with it, so the fans do likewise. Hopefully Arsenal will be 3 up at half time, then the odd fan that might have thought about what to do, will come to Foxhall. Going back to the track, I agree they've got to try and make it grippy early on, then the track will still produce some decent racing later in the meeting, just hope they don't go over the top with the watering this time.
