Poole V Leicester May 27th

A predictable comfortable win against a poor Lions team.

Poor Lions team, the guests actually made them stronger. We would have racked up a cricket score had the normal team been present.

Onwards and upwards..

#Piratepride and all that..

Only downside was that is was one of our turns to have Chris Gay as referee. Hopefully it'll be the only time this year.

Is this guy not the worst referee on the circuit or what?

I couldn't make it last night but i know we have been told we need to give Szymon Wozniak time to mature & progress on the track which he has already done but this is the first time he has scored 0.

Was he unlucky in a few rides or for the first time did he look out of his depth ?

This isn't me having ago or moaning about Wozniak he is a class act & everyone has off days especially someone who is young & new to the uk.

I was just wondering if it was luck or did he have an off day

Dak needs to get his average down a bit too!!

With rolling averages even when a rider has been struggling their average can still go up. Holders been shocking yet his average still goes up from 1st June. Will a run of depleted meetings, I can't see North or Holder getting their averages right down. Watt is more down to his inconsistent form & the fact he's not a heat leader.

Points in the bag is what counts at the moment.

Poole still need to settle down and bring some momentum to the team as they hopefully head towards to play-off's.

Normally the team that wins the play-off's is the team who have built up the momentum and peak just at the right time.

Still plenty of time for several teams to do this so time will tell!?

He did have a really good tussle with Watt in one race, but couldn't get out of the start all night and just lost more ground coming out of the second bend.

Charles Wright looked super quick.

The Poole track looked miles better than I have seen on my previous visits too.
