2ndbendbeerhut
It's almost as if promoters and managers are not that quick when it comes to change..... Manzares has scored another 2 Bp's tonight...... wasted though

ZODIAK
That's a case of snatched victory from the jaws of defeat if ever I saw one!
Baldyman
the reserves did us proud tonight. And thank God we have Danny and nico in our team.
Yearbyred
That's a case of snatched victory from the jaws of defeat if ever I saw one! I'm sure the complete reverse could be argued too from the ever dwindling band of Redcar supporters. Still at least those who did turn up got 15 heats to watch. PaulS
An improvement for the Bears. Need to strengthen a couple of spots then some home wins will follow.
dontforgetthefueltapsbruv
Glad I made the effort. In many ways the draw wouldve been the fair result - tough on Redcar to get nothing. Track was dry and slick but looked very smooth. Thought it would suit Rohan - gate and go - but only hit the front once and immediately let Graversen through off bend 2 in his first ride.Never got close to a race win after that. Danny class -as usual. Nuff said! Nico - battled brilliantly and able to pass despite the conditions. My man of the match Gino - never really got going but didnt make a single start so was always struggling. Stefan - started strongly and had it not been for the ef and then the fall may well have earned an extra ride. Ritchie - vital wins in 2 and 14 and solid in between.Did his job and more besides. Dont think r/r at 4 works for us - would be better at 2. Would also help Gino who is on a hiding to nothing there.
Super Blue
Very pleasantly surprised with the result , almost stopped looking at updates with 3 races left but the 4-2 in ht 13 kept me interested . Im still very uneasy about the Witches prospects this season because of the massive swings of form and riders fragile mindsets but to win after being 6pts down so late in the meeting I've got to give credit where it's due ! Im now looking forward to to the return fixture at Foxhall on Saturday in the hope we can master our own track once again , something that's been sadly missing in our last 2 attempts there . screm
Redcar were threatening changes to their team the other day, surely those changes will be coming sooner rather than later after last nights result.

spanner47
Not getting excited over this result. There appears to be 3 whipping boys in the league at the moment, so to make up for that defeat at home, we've got to beat better teams than this at home, or we wont be making the play offs. Appears Rohan only turns it on when he feels like it, I wanted him back as I thought this could be his season, but clearly I was wrong. Nice to see no one is having a pop at Phil this Morning. northyorksbear
Even though defeated this was an enjoyable match, especially at reduced cost of £5! From a Redcar point of view - before meeting most were predicting/expecting a 10-12 point defeat and realistically we needed everything to go our way to get close to beating a witches team that always go well on our track - and I don't mean getting dubious decisions in our favour, as I thought ref got everything spot on, I mean all close battles coming our way - this was almost the case and if Roynon and Kus had got slightly better gates in last two heats, we may have secured a surprise win. I think all 7 gave it their best and that is all you can ask for, plus track was drastically improved, smooth, bit dusty (more water please not just a fine spray) but wonder wheel does make a big difference, and not a lot of passing, but if improvements can be continued then we may get back to the racetrack that can be one of the best in the league. Ipswich - King top class and very well backed by Covatti, however if a witches fan I would be concerned as they really should have won this far easier and got the additional point, big advantage they had was strength at reserve and ultimately this is what won through for them - Manizares and Tungate very disappointing from riders who have gone very well before and Heeps would have got more than the 4 they secured from r/r. Have seen a lot of flak aimed at your team manager, I think he did everything right last night, so give him some credit for a change! Overall a draw may have been a fair result, but well done to witches for their win and best wishes to Nielsen on his blown motor and injury, hopefully he is able to compete in qualifier this weekend

Brian Havelock announcing he was retiring, even if it was just at the end of the season, would give everyone the hope they needed..until then we'll just limp along until we are finally put out of our misery. I could go on to say all the reasons why things need changing, but I'm at a point where I'm no longer bothered, because I know things wont improve under the current management and nothing I put here will change that.
Emma T
Second paragraph sounds the same from an Ipswich fans view! Oh well we're not the only club held back by current Promotion/management then.
