Couldn't see a thread started.....

Is there anyone going to this meeting who would be able to text updates to the Updates site? If so, could you please send me a private message including your mobile number.

Thanks

As been as Screm is on the lash in Prague pretending he has gone for speedway, here is the weather forecast:-

My version, it's bloo*y georgeous up here, get your bums up the A1 and enjoy the Speedway

Weather`s very decent in Prague, so it looks we will all be getting a meeting tonight. :approve:

A really good meeting apart from Claus getting injured.

He was riding his backside off too in a cracking race, really unlucky :(

Hope he is OK, he's been outstanding this season.

Good to see Stuart Robson back to full fitness with another excellent performance around Shielfield.

Good meeting some decent races . Barkers pass in heat 15 the pick. Only one critisism water the track during meeting. Even some sprinklers positioned on bend would help as i was told billy had went to bowser heaven.

Barker's pass in 15 was amazing!

I'd heard poor Billy had passed away too, it did get quite dusty later on.

We've put together a pretty strong team, only to have two riders injured in the space of as many days :(

I think bringing Hall in has proved to be particularly crucial in tonight's circumstances a bag load of points, and even more entertainment, he doesn't like the inside line, that's for sure!

Perfect week results-wise for Berwick, two league wins and an aggregate cup win.

Desperately hard luck for Claus who was giving it his all to get past Roynon. Just when it seemed Berwick were getting a decent team together as well.

Redcar missed Matej Kus tonight, surely would have scored more then the four points that they got from r/r.

Richard Hall getting back to full fitness and seems an excellent signing at reserve. Couple of good passing moves tonight, but none to compare with Barker's in heat 15. That one had a few of us shaking our heads.

Crop sprayer for light watering would certainly finish off the track prep of recent weeks.Wish Claus speedy recovery. Edited by Fromafar

Decent result last night , but once again its marred by an injury to a rider , also it looks like the engine /clutch gremlins are still troubling Berwick against tougher opposition we might not get away with it .

Just when it looks like Berwick have turned the corner and starting to hit a bit of form we're hit with a double whammy of injuries to Claus and to Hynek , and the fact that there's no meetings at Berwick for the next few weeks doesn't help , any momentum that has been gained will be lost , blank race nights for whatever reason are the bane of modern speedway , problem is people get into a regular routine of turning up every week , when its not on they do something else, question is how do you attract them back ? No problem if you're a die hard who's going to come whatever , but if your new to the sport surely you want regular action .

Best wishes for a speedy recovery to both of our most recent injury victims
