foreverblue
Starman, what Darcy did was a disgrace to the sport all his fans Poole supporters or not. I think he is a rider with true potential to go a very long way, if he can only stay on the straight and narrow. But he needs in my opinion, to make an appology to everone who are involved or follow the sport. He has been tried and found gulity and taken his punishment. He now has to get on with his life and if he hasn't got the balls to stand up and be counted to all the fans then he his, not doing himself any favours. Just been on his twitter page and all he can do is count down the days to when he rides again. A lot of people would see him in a better light if he has the guts to just say sorry. But all you have on his twitter feed are a load of young girls wetting theur pants, because he is standing with his arm around them and in their eyes he can do no wrong. Hope he does get his act together this time as you say one more wrong move and his speedway days are done. He did apologise at the time. I am sure he will move on. One can only assume there are more changes to the Leicester team then (as well as the doubt about Birks), as they certainly announced their 1-7 on Friday. Shame they don't have a Twitter update to go with their facebook page. Edited May 25, 2015 by Skidder1

Shale Searcher
Leicester Lions do have Twitter account. They just don't give a rubbish! Worst team in terms of communications with fans, lineups announcements etc.!No they are not, just don't have enough home riders to guarantee an announcement...... Blimey, with riders jetsetting around Europe, injuries occurring near enough every night, announcing a 1-7 must be the hardest task in league speedway these days... Did any riders get injured in Poland yesterday? Is Janowski lining up for Poole, or did he aggravate his knee....? Is it as bad as announcing top riders and then not delivering, I don't know... You could announce 7 on Friday, and only have 3/4 of them fit come Monday!!!It can't be easy..... Are their any unattached riders registered with the BSPA? Perhaps a small pool of riders that want a way into the British speedway EL could be on some sort of reserve list, perhaps riders who don't want to or can't commit to a full team place and be available to guest for anyone, average permitting..... Don't know if that would/could work... No they are not, just don't have enough home riders to guarantee an announcement...... Rory out, Kenneth out, so much for announcing your team. Hope Rory is ok, sound a bad un, hope op goes well. He's loyal to UK speedway, I would of hoped the op went well loyal or not. speedy recovery Rory.. Shale Searcher
I think what it is Krompa is that Leicester apart from Doyle cant put out anything better than a PL team so they think if we don't tell the fans whose riding then more people might turn up. If you believe that, well, more fool you....
weatherwatcher
I think news wise the Lions site is probably the worst one out of all the EL websites, for letting the fans know what is happening.
weatherwatcher
Will have to wait until I get there to see who the riders are. What a sad state of affairs when you have so many guest and rider replacements in a season. About time that the whole set up in both the EL and PL was altered. Before even more fans drift away from the sport. I was looking earlier at Tamworth speedway back in the 1940,s. with George Formby there. with a crowd of over 5000, will those crowds ever return. Have we anything positive on who the teams are for tonight as we are only a few hours before the start now. Or is it going to be a big suprise. Happy Hunter
According to the Leicester Mercury the line ups are:- Lions - Doyle, Zengota, Bridger, Wozniak, R/R, Guest Reserve & Lambert. Poole - Watt, Gomolski, North, Holder, Janowski, Starke & Newman.

mdmc82
the lack of communication from Leicester Lions isn't very good. No information for their fans or Poole's which isn't good
