emilali
TJ is making the doubters have a rethink though.Barker is a disappointment since he has returned from injury, is his equipment up to scratch ? He is having a lot of mechanical issues for such an experienced rider.Hall has made a difference but unfortunately unless we get a good replacement for Claus I think we will struggle.Far too many serious injuries in the sport nowadays something needs looked at IMO . Your right TJ is going really really well and fair play to him for that, I'm glad to have so far been proved wrong, hope he keeps it up. Agree with you about Hall as well hes having a positive impact. Barker is now on Olly Allens equipment from I believe he has greater interests off track then he does on it unfortunately, no coincidence that his ave is about 1 and a half points lower than it as at the start of the season. Vissing is virtually impossible to replace imo on his ave for the points he can score it will prove hard imo.
sparkafag
That is a good result for a 5 man team, Berwicks season is ticking along quite nicely.

I think your point about bikes being too fast has a lot of sense. Loads of bad injuries, even with all the safety improvements. Good result again. Can see us having a solid league campaign. I'm not sure you can say Barker has been a disappointment, he made the crucial move to get him and Doolan through in the KO Cup leg, his heat 15 rider on Saturday was pretty good too. Definitely not riding at his very best, but still pretty decent! Edited May 25, 2015 by bigeddiechek
Bandits4eva
That is a good result for a 5 man team, Berwicks season is ticking along quite nicely. We had 6 men there actually... Liam had a very valuable paid 2nd place in his 1st PL meeting back in a while.... Our season is ticking along nicely now... hope we get the replacements to keep it going

I know Taffy likes Czech riders, but surely he has a point about Kracma and Holub, both competent riders on good equipment, both scoring quite well on the Continent. Both capable of increasing their starting average of 7, from what I have heard not that expensive compared to some of Berwicks team Edited May 25, 2015 by UP URANUS

Im sure our scouting system has plenty options lined up though 👍

spittalbandit
The point about bens average dropping could actually benefit the team. In reality with the points available you could sign somebody on higher average and drop ben down to claus position at 5. Not saying there is anyone out there but it is a possible option

Robinh88
So i make it 1. Martin Vaculik 2. Richard Hall 3. Kevin Doolan 4. Thomas Jorgenson 5. Ben Barker (GB International) 6. Alex Edberg 7. Liam Carr

sparkafag
That is 1 who was signed this winter as a new comer who has upped his 7.00 average, there wasn’t any last year, as I said, like rocking horse rubbish. If Czech was full of riders ready to come over and do that, and they weren’t expensive, they would already be here. Lord Lucan
Disappointing end to a match that the Comets looked to have wrapped up? Going pretty well for a four man team but losing Hansen cost us in the end, he was riding particularly well and would easily have contributed more than the 5 he's credited with, still, a draw in a meaningless match sends everyone home "relatively" happy!!
