Tsunami
pitty they wernt as keen along with a few other clubs a few years back when this was tested im sure 3 clubs got involved pritty sure workington and maybe the other 2 were somerset and newcastle but cant remember to make season tickets worth buying maybe all clubs should allow away fans a discount if there team is in town and they produce there season ticket I think it was Newcastle , Berwick and Worky. Triple.H.
What every team in Britain should do is offer season ticket holders of any club in any league anything from a free programme and a couple of quid off admission up to maybe half price admission.Any little carrot to attract fans of either the opposition or someone who just happens to be in the area to a meeting has to be a no brainer.

ancient mariner
Great offer - both promotions are to be applauded. For information, present your season ticket on the gate at Somerset and provided your team is not riding you'll get in for a tenner. Done it several times and fair play to the Rebels promotion

Done it several times and fair play to the Rebels promotion Never knew Somerset did this and fair play and a big pat on the back from me for doing so. But until The CHEETAHS are back on track, if ever, I'll be paying full price on the odd occasion I'm down that way. Though I don't begrudge paying full price for the product on show. bigeddiechek
Good to see two strong rivals working together in the mutual interest of fans and clubs. Great initiative and hope that it helps numbers for both clubs. They last bastions of Scottish speedway!
SCB
I dont know if they still do it this season but last season anyone with another clubs season ticket could get into Coventry cheaper.

SharpenRake
Its good that Tigers and Monarchs promotions appear to be working for the greater good. From what I've read they seem to have spent the last few years acting like 'fans' rather than promoters
weatherwatcher
With all the money that has been spent on the Glasgow stadium and it is a tribute to the guys who came up with at last bring a speedway club into the 21st centary. When will we see them making a bid to join the EL. It is a stadium that would even put a few top level clubs to shame. All the best to the management there they deserve credit where credit is due, plus the fans coming through the turnstyles, for all the hard work and money they have done and spent. Have a great season. You deserve it.

We have Edinburgh , Berwick , Workington and Newcastle all reasonably close , our EL local derby would be Belle Vue . Let's establish ourselves among the PL big guns for now
Mike.Butler
talk about trying to run before you can walk! and anyway, joining an EL that is shrinking doesn't sound like a good idea to me... the future is an amalgamation at PL level..so best to be in t when t happens

Glasgow do not want to go up in to the Elite League - it has almost been the ruination of some of those Clubs who have tried it.
