sussex bulldog
This should be a real test for the Eagles. Any predictions ? I believe that it could be a last heat decider.
TurnTwo
No chance will it be a last heat decider. Perks can't ride new tracks very well for the first time. Michael Neale will struggle with the pace. Williamson won't stand a chance against Owen. Greaves looped it 3 times last year. Clegg I think got a point there last year. Moggridge won't complete all his rides. Harris will have bike problems as per usual
Fozzie4388
Cradley won't be as strong now Perks can't have 6 or 7 riders either. Edited May 20, 2015 by Superstar1
Heathen1984
So Cradley will struggle to get 20 by sounds of these comments, haha. I do think eastbourne will win but your talking like cradley aint that good. Superstar,hOw often as perks had 7 rides then.

sussex bulldog
New Zealand hot-shot Bradley Wilson-Dean takes the No 1 race-jacket for the IT First Eastbourne Eagles on Sunday when they face defending champions Cradley at Arlington.Wilson-Dean joined Eastbourne during the winter with a big reputation gained in his home country but no experience of British tracks. The 20-year-old immediately proved his worth and has shot to the top of the Eagles’ rider averages.Eastbourne club chairman, Martin Dugard, said: “We are getting exactly what we expected when we signed Brad. He is full living up to our expectations and more.“Brad is ‘box office’ wherever he goes as he is a born racer who doesn’t give up until the chequered flag comes down.“I can’t believe some of the moves he is pulling.”Dugard fully expects Cradley will provide the Eagles’ biggest test at Arlington so far this year. They head the league table with 13 points from four matches with Mildenhall second with 12 points from five matches and Eastbourne third with seven points from four matchesDugard said: “Cradley swept all before them last year and they are certainly the glamour club of the National League. They are once again setting the pace.“Our riders have the skill and ability to match them on Sunday and over the whole season. We look set for a thriller on Sunday.”With Wilson-Dean at No 1, team manager Glenn Martin has shuffled the riding order.Team: Bradley Wilson-Dean, Mattie Bates, rider replacement for Richard Andrews, David Mason, Marc Owen, Georgie Wood, Kelsey Dugard.Andrews suffered a broken thumb at Mildenhall last weekend and the rider replacement rule will be utilised to cover his rides.Last night (Wednesday, May 20) the Eagles were at Birmingham in the KO Cup. catinthehat
I think this wont be the match of the season, now the teams have been moved about Eastbourne are at what i could say a big advantage, reserves are very much the Key in the meeting on sunday, Who cares if clegg only got one point last time and greaves fell a hand full of times thats the past and history, Looking at both teams the way they are its going to be a big meeting for both teams and very close, I think the match with Mildenhall will be the better one at Eastbourne. BWD at 1 is where he should be, clegg may match him but unlikley at Eastbourne, Perks in the main team for cradley but it was reported he was having a practice after the MDL match at Birmingham yesterday, not sure if he was going for a MDL team place lol, but reports suggested he may be a little bit to good for MDL but only just. Dugard needs to put some velcro on his seat, he cant do four fast laps takes 2 laps for him to settle down then decides to try and pass. George wood was a star again last night, Roll on Georgie the kids love you and the fans think your a star in the making. Mason is good at Home and in the number 4 jacket gives him 3 inside gates. Owen is slowly improving ever week, along with Mattie Bates, I say all systems go and a win for the Eagles with a 8 point win. greyhoundp
Okay lets give it a go, I have seen Eastbourne twice at Perry Barr, seen Matty Bates at Monmore, Plymouth, and PB, seen DM at Kent, Monmore and PB, seen Mark Owen at Monmore and PB, the first two are far and away different riders home and away, Marks home and away form is not so different, BWD home and away rider, Georgie home and away, and Kelsey at this moment is far better at home. So far all Eastbournes riders have ridden well at home, no weak links. Cradley this season, Max, Matt, Arron, Mike have ridden well home and away, Nathan is not riding at his best for Cradley, Ellis is being hampered by a long standing knee injury, which needs an operation, and Luke has struggled in the main Team. I have never been to Arlington, so i only read and hear what i know of it, which like Monmore for a lot of teams they struggle to find the best ways round the Track, so i think the Eagles will win this in what will undoutably be Cradleys toughest test of the season so far, none of the Cradley riders will be found out for lack of effort, what may be there undoing is Track knowledge, and that will be Eastbournes strongest asset, so Eastbourne should win, as for the scoreline, well that is anyones guess, Im hoping but its no more than a hope we may sneak a point. stevec
I think Eastbourne need to win this convincingly and not give any points to Cradley. I will only be happy if we win by 12 plus.I certainly hope Cardley don't steal a point. I hope you enjoy your visit greyhound and don't suffer the pain of a last heat deciding a loss by 7 points like we did up there!

gaptooth
All 7 eagles need to be firing for this one. No room for carrying anyone as The heathens will be the toughest test the Eagles have had. Can't see a runaway like before
