Kent V Kings Lynn Bank Holiday Monday 25th May At 3pm

Recommended Posts

I take it that Kent No1 Ben Morley will be missing for the Kings on Monday as he will be riding for Redcar at Rye House starting at 2pm. With so many meetings that day choice of guest maybe limited so i hope the promotion can get Bradley Wilson Dean to guest for Ben before some other club snap him up

It's a shame that the promtions couldn't get together as Ben could have ridden both fixtures if either the Kings or the Rockets had changed their start time as i'm sure fan's would have liked to have gone to both meetings.

Will brads average fit by then? Think it changes? We have no meetings on Monday

I think anyone can guest for Ben unless they are already a P.L reserve as he is No 1 in the N.L averages with a 10.77 average. Bradleys average is around 10.00 after Sundays meeting at Mildenhall.

I've just checked averages and Morely is 9.06 and Brad is 10 from Sunday so unless he goes up he can't guest I think

Unless Morelys has not been updated of course.

Yeah just checked also Alex 2000, Ben has not ridden 4 N.L. matches as Buxton last week was postponed & the KO cup matches v Coventry don't count so with that in mind may have to look at either Tom Perry, Dan Halsey, Liam Carr, Marc Owen or Luke Chessell to fill in at No 1.

A sensible 6-30 pm start time at kent would have solved the problem, especially as Bens new average is not yet official ,this will weaken the kings with the riders available.. A Lack of sensible planning again in speedway, when will they learn you can not keep cheating the fans and expect them to keep attending ? Both tracks would have benifitted from that change of start time As some would have gone to both meetings.. Especially Bens many fans,,

All of the options now you don't know which version of each person will turn up to ride. Owen is supposed to be good round your Central Park but he did crap when we came in April... And Halsey hasn't hit top form yet either. Would offer David Kent specialist but he's a NEG

That just means he can't guest in the PL as an NL only guest (ie when a PL team has no facility), it doesn't affecting guesting in the NL at all.

Oh right. He would probably be decent at his favourite track

If he fits the average Rob Branford would be the obvious choice especially with the two tracks connection...Unless the Raiders are in action?

I'm certainly looking forward to coming to Kent in support of King's Lynn on Monday.

King's Lynn 'Stars' are in action at Coventry the same day, but the National League fixture seems far more appealing, so in my case, a clash of fixtures doesn't matter one iota.

Why does this meeting seem far more appealing Mike?

No other reason than National League is my favourite level of racing, closely followed by Premier League.

I've never been a huge fan of Elite League racing, although I do go to watch it at other tracks from time to time.

I also love going to watch the various rounds of the British Youth Championship, although I can't make them all this year. I suppose it's grass roots stuff that I like.

Nothing against those who prefer Elite League though, because obviously you get good racing at that level..................................once in a blue moon ;).

If you're off to Coventry, have a great evening, and lets hope the 'Stars' win. I know I'll enjoy myself at Central Park, Win, Lose or Draw.
