What's puzzling is that the Swedish match is only scheduled for one hour, between 8 and 9 pm but between 7 and 8 they're showing highlights of the weekend's GP!

So it looks like we get a potentially interesting match condensed into one hour while they waste 60 minutes on Saturday's tedium.

ATP Tennis is on Eurosport 2 which would explain the failure to show the match live given Eurosport's reliance on tennis, a great schedule filler.

RMC, I wouldn't say that Lejonen-Dackarna is "a potentially interesting match". Gislaved is probably one of the worst tracks in Sweden

together with Vetlanda when it comes to entertainment value.

I'd suspect that it will still be far more fascinating than that waste of time at Tampere, if only because it's a team event. Anyway, that's not really the key point I was making.

Who can take R/R rides for Lindgren? Everyone but Pepe?

And I doubt Przemek Pawlicki will ride. He was in so much pain yesterday. R/R for him?

Iversen, Nicholls and Schlein (x2).

Pawlicki injured? Well Jimmy can only blame himself then for picking the team on Fridays. He should learn to wait until Sunday.

Lindback can't get a ride? That's confusing as hell. ;) Pawlicki picked up injury in Euro Qualifiers on Saturday, rode for Leszno yesterday (8 pts) struggling with pain.

No R/R are based on averages, see this thread: http://www.speedway-forum.co.uk/forums/index.php?showtopic=67537

If Pawlicki can't ride, Smederna are doomed since only Michelsen and the reserves can take his heats.

I know that R/R depens on avarages but looking at SVEMO website I see that eiher:

A floating avarages are still not used as Schlein remains at 7 (reserve) and if it is true then original avarages should count (Lindgren is 3rd with 1.594 and Lindback is below with 1.386). In this case only Protasiewicz can't get extra ride (as is 1st with 2.229)

B if we use floating avarages then Nicholls should go down to reserve with 1.333 and Schlein to main body and R/R for Lindgren not for Iversen (2.200 and Lindback 2.167. What is more Lindgren's floating ave is the same as Protasiewicz :)

Please explain.

Thanks in advance!

Krompa look for a *mark after the riders name. It indicates whether or not the rider have an official average.

For indianerna Antonio is the only rider who have achieved a floating average since he is the only rider to have ridden 12 heats.

So Antontio's floating average will be used to calculate RR eligibility but for the others (with less then 12 heats) the season entry average is used.

Sadly RMC Eurosport Europe are only showing for one hour -their programme starts at 8pm cet-i also don`t know why British Eurosport are not mirror imaging that programme at 7pm with the GP highlights after Sweden. what we don`t know yet is if this hour programme will join the match live half way through or start at heat 1.i am busy all day so unable to look -our best chance of seeing the whole match is to find a c more Sweden stream-something I`m sure we found last season on these Eurosport non live situations. Maybe someone can look back on the old threads.

unbelievable, we have 2 weeks of speedway missed because of the rain, and now there are due to be matches, eurosport decide to only show 1 hour

or maybe that is why they are only showing an hour, either way, I'm gutted, stick a link up if you find one racers and royals, would be much appreciated

According to Iwan ESP NL will show it live: https://twitter.com/Mototaal/status/600640282619748353

So perhaps it would be a good idea for you too to check in at 6pm UK time in case they decide to show it live.

Wiseguy, well the rain have been a threat today as well but at the moment it looks like the rain came earlier then expected

and it seems that the rain will have passed by 19.00.
