customhouseregular
How about a French GP at the Stad de France?. With so many cheap flights to Paris and high-speed rail travel to the city from all over Western Europe, this could attract a good crowd. I believe the Stad de France has held motor sport events in the past so I'm sure they could put it on. So, France is not a hotbed of Speedway, but the same could be said of Croatia, Slovenia, Finland. Paris is much more accessible than Tampere, Krsko or Gorican and a weekend in Paris taking in a GP has appeal. After Warsaw and Tampere there may be some reluctance to consider another non-speedway stadium, but where would you rather spend your GP weekend...Daugavpils, Krsko or Paris. Somewhere where I can see proper racing. I've been as much to tracks in the back of beyond as much as I have to Paris. How about a French GP at the Stad de France?. With so many cheap flights to Paris and high-speed rail travel to the city from all over Western Europe, this could attract a good crowd. BSI should sort out the GPs they currently run. What's the point in attracting a good crowd to watch a fiasco? It does more damage than good. So, France is not a hotbed of Speedway, but the same could be said of Croatia, Slovenia, Finland. There's far more of speedway tradition and active racing in those countries than France. I think there's occasional speedway racing at Marmande, but that's down in the south-west of France, a long way from Paris.

Yes, Yes and thrice Yes to paraphrase Frankie Howard. Or Having West Ham United and West Ham Speedway sharing Olympic Park. Let's move the Hammers out of Purfleet and get them back home. I'm waiting for the howls from Lakeside They could race round the houses.... Silly

customhouseregular
Nostalgia is such a lovely state. Sverre and Norman and Stan of course. Seriously though, and apologies to Lakeside fans, the Hammers deserve to come home. p.s. Scrap the GP's and hold the World Final at Olympic Park. Long live west Ham

Judging by the wikipedia article it will be demolished with housing built in it's place. It's been bought by Galliard Homes for a redevelopment which they'll also use as a showcase for what they could do with the Wimbledon Stadium site (which they've effectively owned for about a decade) given the right planning permission.
