DSC67
Does it always rain on a Sunday in Glasgow?
bigcatdiary
Crikey that's 4 meetings postponed in 8 days, not been a good week for the Tigers
Gazc
We would be as well calling the Newcastle meeting off now get the call off in nice & early it really is a f**king joke problem is the weather continuing to let us down new fans will just do something else as it is too unpredictable. Tigerite
Perhaps the next investment for the new owners should be a roof over the track.

MD
Glasgow have only had 4 competitive Sunday meetings in the 8 weeks since the season started. Any more rain offs and we will have a serious backlog, last year was problematic enough getting teams to agree new dates. The only upside is the EL riders are continuing to ride elsewhere and won't become race rusty.
cyclone
Glasgow have only had 4 competitive Sunday meetings in the 8 weeks since the season started. Any more rain offs and we will have a serious backlog, last year was problematic enough getting teams to agree new dates. The only upside is the EL riders are continuing to ride elsewhere and won't become race rusty. Perhaps Wednesday evenings (the Tigers raceday when they reappeared in 1964) under the floodlights might offer the opportunity to slot in any backlog. If Palovaara was available for some Tuesday nights, that could also be considered, given the large turnout against Sheffield. MD
After next Sunday against Newcastle, the following 2 Sundays are down as reserved. We should be trying to get 2 of the 3 rain off teams to run then and if not we should be looking to pull forward 2 fixtures from later in the season. We can't afford to have 3 weeks between home meetings, our schedule has already been interrupted and further lack of continuity only serves to put off those newcomers who have been turning out in numbers.
