Swc Match 2 Kings Lynn Monday June 8th

Good point ...look at the football league title each year the team with the most points keeps winning it when quite clearly other teams are better . And as for that Lewis Hamilton bloke how the hell is he World Champion .

What a stupid post, if other teams are better than chelsea or Barcelona or B Munich surely they would of won the league, as for Hamilton he is the fastest of the 2 Mercedes drivers he has won 4 to Rosbergs 2 and Rosberg was gifted one of those 2 wins, is he quicker that Vettell? we will never know unless they are paired in exactly the same cars

I am not Rosco's biggest fan but I think the critism of him is a bit unfair . Once you start telling a rider not to try to win you change the whole dynamics of a race and all sorts of unexpected things can go wrong. Absolutely right IMO opinion to save the two most experienced riders to the end . Lambert had already touched the tapes in a regular heat so who knows what he would have done under pressure if he was in at the end.

Can't agree. Firstly you need to be able to get to the end, then take your chance. No point saving best till the end if you're not going to get there.

Just wish that idiot Pearson would get his facts right before spouting off. Nick did not turn his back on GB and decide to ride for Aus, he wanted to ride for England but was buggered about by the authorities so much and refused the option, so he then decided to ride for Aus. The authorities have shot themselves in the foot again.

Read numerous times that Morris said he contemplated riding for GB but said his mind was made up as he's always lived in Aus and as he had to listen to the Aus national anthem every day at school it would be weird standing on the podium with the British national anthem playing...

All Pearson was saying that he COULD have ridden for GB because his parents were British.

To put it another way round, Lambert had not beaten any of the Aussies while King had only beaten one of them and that was from the gate. On the balance of probabilities the chances are that whichever one of the last 4 heats those two rode in they would have done no better than second, so whichever order they rode it is highly unlikely to have made any difference to the result I still find it difficult to fault Rosce's thinking. He certainly didn't cost GB the match or anything like that..

And if they were going to beat one of them it would, most likely, be in the earlier heats - although the Aussies still had a choice to make anyway so could have picked accordingly.
