Bagpuss
The fish and chips are awesome. Can see an away win here, hopefully to add to a defeat for Adz's other team Saturday lunchtime
adz_mft
Steve.Viewing wise I'd say it's pretty even wherever you stand around the track.I've moved from bend to bend over the years but seem to have settled in the main stand now.If the weather is nice sit on the grass around 3/4 I'd say. 2 comments in 101 and we get a comment of "the fish and chips are awesome" told you so haha Going for a suffolk double over the weekend with both The Town and Tigers getting a win. I think Sunday will be close. We need to make the gate otherwise we will get beat.Looking forward to it though
Sings4Speedway
Agreed viewing wise its pretty good all round and I particularly enjoy being able to see into the pits during the meeting and see riders reactions, changes being made etc. Any team with their gating boots on will do well although there is enough room to pass around the bends. Its generally quite grippy to start with and ends pretty slick and the air fence is pretty hungry with at least one rider per meeting crawling back out from under it. Think any first time visitors will enjoy themselves and as mentioned before the fish is superb.
Sings4Speedway
The blue groove will definitely be there. I think they have it on a time share with Kent!

adz_mft
Yes!! Absolutely chuffed to bits with that.Lads rode a blinder to get a win. After losing so many points in the 1st few heats and then going behind they could have easily let their heads drop.To pick themselves up and to comeback against a really good Eastbourne side.Top effort. Both sets of riders put on a decent meeting. Not an incredible amount of passing but the racing was so close it didn't matter about that. The atmosphere around the stadium after heat 15 was brilliant.Love the buzz of a last heat decider. Was good to see both sets of fans walking away from the main stand talking to each other about the meeting. It's what speedway is about.Seeing a cracking meeting and no issues from either side. Man of the meeting though for me was Danny Halsey. His heat wins over Wilson-Dean were brilliant. That's the Danny we know.Especially in heat 15. Was very impressed with Wilson-Dean and Wood. Both have a big future.Hope the Eastbourne fans enjoyed their visit.Certainly loud enough haha See you in the return fixture

I agree with what you say about Danny. I was looking forwards to seeing him as he rode for us last year. Once again Georgie and Bradley were brilliant entertainment they always are. And the fish n chips were great!
PhilK
Great meeting, some brilliant racing with both teams emerging with alot of credit A pleasure to see plenty of Eastbourne fans in the crowd, fairminded, enjoying themselves and backing their team, how it should be. A draw would probably have been a fair result, but after a strong talking to at the interval we emerged more focused and managed to gain an all important three points Really impressed with Georgie Wood who looks an excellent prospect and of course Wilson-Dean lived up to what we have been hearing, a couple of great races with Danny Halsey! Hope that Richard Andrews is ok.Look forward to seeing plenty of you return when we meet in the Trophy on the Sunday after the British GP, their should be an added attraction that afternoon well worth seeing! steven101
Echo previous comments defo was a good match great atmosphere, hope andrews is not out too long as hes been flying, fear i will be 6 weeks though. I think the right result was produced in the end, couple of eagles looked to struggle early on especially which may of cost us the victory. But really enjoyed it loved the fish n chips and is pretty good viewing on bend 3 and 4 on the grass. Certainly hoping to go to the 2nd match there day after cardiff!
