hackneyrocket
Great result last night for the Rockets, just about rekindled our season. Â Yet again it shows that if you can have a big scoring No1 (Kennett just continues to amaze me, in a positive way) and a big scoring reserve (boy have we missed Kasper) it can go a long way in winning matches. A lot of Edinburghs success last year was Cook at No 1 and Worrall S at reserve whilst Ipswich may win our League Cup group oh yes, King at No 1 and Covatti at reserve. Covatti is not a reserve anymore

Falcon Hammer
i'll reserve judgement until the next double header! Doubt there'll be any more this season, expect the two in August to be rescheduled. Perfect track for the rest of the year
IronScorpion
i think all the comments on here say it all about the meeting Fozzie/Superstar1, Up until ht 10, the result was in doubt going either way but after the incidents, i said to my friends that they would now go thro' the card with Carl throwing my prediction(Carl never gives in & Matty, also, did his best in ht14.  I should think Fozzie was at his computer, doing what he does best.  I can't follow any meetings or pass comment as i am still banned from the update site 'cos of a jokey comment last sat, which most people make in jest but others take it seriously.  Anyway, well done the rockets on a very entertaining & eventful meeting, up to ht 10 & get well soon Josh & Alex. Both accidents looked bad but feared for Alex. The off-camber on turn 4 catches a lot of riders out leading to some bad accidents. Could do with the whole bend, fence & supporting area sorting in the off season

Islander15
What Ellis has put on facebook in response to the Scunthorpe meeting report from last night that classes him as injured: ' Ellis Perks Well i can ride again but you wnt let me in the team'
montie
 in hindsight i think this meeting was always going to be a banana skin...with only 4 regular riders, and 2 "rookie" reserves, one being a guest which 9 times out of 10 for us dosent work. if alex is concussed does he have to rest for 7 days? he will miss somerset if he does, mayve mr morris would like to step in?, i would love to se nicolai step in but im not sure iif scunny have "burnt their bridges" with him?, he wasnt too chuffed we held a collection for nike for his engine blow ups.  Where does it say Alex is concussed??  are you so brainless that a collection for a kids motor would upset a genuine friend of the club who would ride for us any time if his fixtures didnt clash to much?  Ive read some crap on her but that is up there with the best  Quick message to Rye House---can you leave NBJ here please--wow--how good is he!!! Paul Johnson
i was told last night by some there he maybe concussed, thats why i asked,,, nicolai tweeted why he didnt get a whip round when his engine blew..stop being personal in your posts montie and nitpicking everything i said. the big clue was in IF alex is concussed, IF its a head injury he may have to take a rest . all i asked.. you know what? shove this forum up ya...... EC Rides Again
roger on the mic is not really meant to be on the centre green, he was fetched in to be a roving mic, to go round the crowd and interact, ask questions , get feeback, etc, i wasnt there last night but was he on the mic like rob does? also if he is roving then he has to use his dicretion about going into the fans, if its a rubbish meeting then riders dont need teling they are rubbish etc, maybe why he moved to centre green. Â . Â I think that he was just filling in as Rob was under the weather. Certainly agreed with the fans around me that his comments about Matt being "out of his depth" were totally out of order. Â Triffic match with great racing from both teams up to Josh and Alex throwing themselves at the track and handing the meeting to the Rockets. Hope both of them get well soon - nasty crashes for the pair of them. Edited May 16, 2015 by EC Rides Again
Paulco
For the neutral , though we did roar on Theo and Kasper , that was well worth the visit . Some of the racing was absolutely breathtaking . Scunny having no luck at all with injuries and how Alex Davies walked away from his off was amazing , but a relief . Rye would still have won had Auty and Davies been able to continue and Jakobsen had you watching through your fingers at times , but what entertainment . Shame that fantastic racetrack isn't graced with full houses , I for one will certainly be back this season
Shadders
Before everyone starts going on about the superb Scunthorpe track, speak to the riders involved. They were far from impressed. Too much dirt high up and nothing low down is what I'm hearing from some of them. Some of the riders were just happy to get away without injury. Unfortunately for Alex Davies & Josh Auty they didn't. Â I can understand the riders concerns. The high line was very deep and it took a lot of control from anyone willing to blast around the outside to hang on. This is where both Josh and Alex came a cropper. New silencers do not help in these circumstances, I fear. Â However, you have to hand it to the riders for such a superb display of racing. They deserve the credit. Â The Scunthorpe track lends itself to great racing because of its shape. However, it is at it's best when the inside and outside lines are on a par with each other. On Friday the inside and outside racing surfaces were too different and this would catch out the unlucky Josh and Alex.

Riders will have to like it or lump it, they're riding for a wage so they can't just walk away... Like the fan on the terraces can.
Shrimmy
Didnt think the outside was to deep I've seen it deeper..I saw eddie Kennett whingeing to rob Godfrey about the track but rob just shrugged his shoulders which was quite funny..suppose dry house riders aren't used to seeing dirt on a track !!
