Stars V Wolves - Wed 13 May

Recommended Posts

. Even Poole and Bees have had a thumping loss at home and the Bees in particular are THE team to beat as many expected.

We have exceeded most people's expectations so far despite some still thinking we are the weakest team still - which so far is wide off the mark.

Still top 4 and only Swindon below us have raced the same meetings (Leicester have raced less but aren't in contention at present).

That's better than anyone gives us credit for.

Plenty at Monmore, thanks.

When was this thumping at home for Coventry? I have seen them lose by 7 at home but not any large loss

Looking forward to seeing the Stars in action as missed the Coventry meeting.

Shame Musielak is missing as I was looking forward to seeing him in action. Lindgren, PK and Thorsell are also good value at Lynn and expect some good races between Kerr and Blackbird.

Weather looking spot on as well. Bring it on :t:

Interesting fact, Stars gain a heat advantage in 47% of races featuring Robert and/or Niels so far this season.

Love a stat I do!

Is it that interesting? I would hope any pairing would on average get a heat advantage in 40% of races. So they only slightly above average.

Looks like a massacreee by a 5 man KL side. Can't say I'm surprised but Lindgren looks to have improved so that's good for Wolves.

It looks like Lindgren had a good meeting but then Karlsson had a poor night so no benefit from it.

Howarth was a strange choice of guest as he has always struggled away to king's Lynn.

Great to see Bjerre having a much better meeting.

Strange decision not to go with RR. Hope Karlsson gets back to where he was a few weeks ago.

If I was a KL fan I would be more worried about Porsing than the stick that Bjerre got.

Not too bad a performance from Wolves tonight if I am being honest, I expected worse.

What I did expect was Howarth to score 0, and he duly delivered.

The Wolves promotion should issue an apology to any travelling away fans for who they have shown zero regard.

With RR Wolves would very likely have come away with a pt and may even have sneaked a draw or better. 5 pts from Lindgren, Wells, Karlsson and Thorsell wouldn't have been a lot to ask for a draw.

Great result from the Stars very enjoyable meeting - Much improved performance from Kenneth tonight much more like the form we all no he capable of but have to say the form of Porsing is dissapointing looked very un interested to me - even though we won I'd still like to see team changes Mads for Porsing makes sense to me Mads would turn this team from a good team into a very good team .
