Super Blue Posted May 14, 2015 Report Share Posted May 14, 2015 I really don't see why it took so long to be called off , anyone living around here could have told you it was never going to happen from mid afternoon ! Â Mind you I suppose they can't win with us fans , the Rye home meeting in march was called off at lunchtime when it turned out there wasn't a drop of rain after that time and now this situation . Â Obviously they want to give themselves as much opportunity to get it on as possible and get some money in but they really do go from one extreme to the other . Â Im sure some people would have already been travelling by 6-00pm when the news finally broke , we can only make the assumption it was the ref who made the decision . Started raining as soon as I got off the train at Ipswich station at quarter to two and it never stopped thereafter .
