Belle Vue V Swindon - 11/5/2015

Gates 1 & 3 in Heat 15 should've been enough & you don't make the play offs if you don't take your chances of away wins.

Not going to give Rosco stick for leaving Nick out of Heat 15 as it was a tough decision but to give Lewis 4 rides again was a big mistake.

I think the Robins must be feeling hard done by with this result, and rightly so. They didn't really deserve to lose this match, and BV didn't deserve to win it.

It was just a series of misunderstandings, and schoolboy errors which turned the match on it head. I imagine that it was an enjoyable match to watch, and the punters must have enjoyed it

It was only the scoreline bouncing back and forth that kept the meeting interesting, the racing was terrible, track was a slick dust bowl just like it was for the Coventry meeting which was also after stock cars. Apart from the excellent heat 15 the only other decent race was heat 9 where Wright and Worrall passed each other several times until Wright squeezed down a gap down home straight and turned too early across Worrall causing a pile up.

What an unbelievable finish! Nicholls winning, Kildemand and Batchelor team riding well to keep Zagar behind. On last bend Kildemand makes a mistake allowing Zagar past, Batchelor then slows down on run in to the line thinking its Kildemand next to him but it is Zagar who powers past on then line

Sounds a great race,is there a video of it anywhere?

I wish you lot would spell Peter's name correctly-it's KILDEMAND!

And there's only the first letter that is a proper noun in Kildemand.

Overall the racing was poor but the scores kept it exciting and we had two good races.

Well done to Swindon who perhaps deserved more than a solitary point although I think Zagar might have done something in heat 13 if he had not burnt out his clutch. The last race brought the house down And certainly sent the Aces fans home happy.

That's two matches where the Aces have struggled on a dusty , slick home track which makes passing more difficult. I appreciate it was the forecast which dictated the lack of watering but perhaps lessons to be learned.
