blueherb777
Kings will need to take some sort of lead into second leg at Coventry Friday. I think Storm will be too strong over the two legs. Weather set fair for tomorrow.
mdmc82
There's no Dan Greenwood for the return leg at Brandon and I can't see R/R scoring what he would so I think Coventry have to try and get an away lead in this meeting to take the pressure off at home. Islander15
Good luck to Callum Walker! I still don't know why Farnaby was signed though.
Sings4Speedway
Good to see a No.8 getting a run out. Why is Farnaby missing tonight? As for the match I think the Kings will need to be on their toes with Crang & Greenwood in town. However I think overall it should be a home win but by enough to take to Cov? Looks an easier night for the reserves so fingers crossed they get a little confidence booster....

Sings4Speedway
Good win from the Kings last night and a much improved performance all round. A 5-1 in the reserves race certainly got things off to a very solid start. Some great racing with Ben Morley involved in some titantic battles with both Ritchings & Greenwood. Danny Ayres showed no effects of his recent injuries, James Shanes actually gated in one race and was good value in the others & Baseby was quietly efficient picking up solid points and a good win. Thought Danno rode better than his 3 points suggest and all of the riders much more on the pace. Good lead to take to Cov especially if Greenwood is missing and Crang is still struggling with confidence.
blueherb777
Without doubt Kings best performance of the season. First time we have seen reserves that were less impressive (my kind way of putting it)than the Home teams? I was expecting more from Storm although Greenwood was as impressive as ever around Central Park. Again the track was too slick for much (if any) overtaking. Will a 14 point lead be enough ? I was standing near the second bend and the crowd looked very sparse in the main stand, which was a shame on a lovely evening. Finally have to say that Ayres improvement since last season is what this League is all about.
CB252
The lead will easily be enough with Greenwood missing and Storm riding their first official home fixture of the year. Greenwood is currently the best rider in the League, but no halfway decent guests available on his poxy 2014 figure. Might as well go with R/R. Oh well it's only a tenner to get in. cityrebel
Regarding kent's crowd figures, You can only tread water in the NL for so long. If the planning issues and the curfew can be permanently sorted, a higher level of speedway is needed at Central Park to keep progressing. TurnTwo
What about the dean-machine on a 5point average cb252 may have just ruined the kings chances with that

With the curfew extended on a Friday,I am hoping Kent move up to the Premier League.
Sings4Speedway
I personally didn't think the crowd was too bad? The main car park was full and there was plenty of noise being made in the stands. Perhaps a few had stayed away after some below par performances but I would be surprised if the promotion was disappointed by it. On a personal note I like the NL and hope that's where the Kings stay for a while.

I understand what you are saying regarding the crowd last night,as when I moved under the main stand there was a lot of noise and the crowd looks OK. But if you stand away from the main stand and look at all the empty seats, then you can see how much less the crowds are compared to what they were previous. Perhaps the crowd sizes are big enough for the promotion (I do not know what the expectation is). Yes the Car Park was well populated, but when there is a really decent crowd the cars are parked all the way down the road.
Alex2000
What about the dean-machine on a 5point average cb252 may have just ruined the kings chances with that Certainly would and would give him track time before we go there!

Blackbird
What about the dean-machine on a 5point average cb252 may have just ruined the kings chances with that Greenwood's not the Storm's number one so a 'guest' is in fact not an option

Falcon Hammer
My first visit to Kent this year, and have to agree with AJ is King, the crowd looked considerably down from last year The track was also disappointing, with a blue groove appearing almost immediately & the only overtake was Knuckey on Verge in Ht.1. Maybe I was unlucky on this occasion. Pity, as the stadium & viewing is fantastic
