Birds And The Bees (ok. Bees V Robins)

Recommended Posts

Promoters have got to do this, yes I know it is open to abuse, but they don't get enough fans through the doors as it is let alone if they try to run with showers\rain pending.

And they have to consider they run the last meeting on a wet track and called it off after 10 heats - do that 2 meetings in a row and you'd seriously upset people.

Weather has been sunny so far today but there are a lot of dark clouds around. I'm actually hoping it rains now lol.

I would rather meet Swindon with an in form Hans Andersen.

They saw Kildemands score last night and called it off ;)

Hope it is rerun before June 2nd.

Wouldn't imagine it will be run by then as not many free Friday's this month due to Storm fixtures. With Troy scoring poorly I would have preferred to face him tonight.

Has this been called off to save paying riders air fares, and not for the benefit of fans? The riders are here tomorrow as well for Lions v Cov, so there's no real air fare saving.... Ridiculous decision so early in the day, especially as the weather forecast is not set in stone this evening....

Rain between 5 and 6pm, then clear....?

Bees running scared

Seriously, who would be a promoter - you are damned if you and damned if you don't. I would have waited until later in the day because if the rain doesn't materialise then they will look silly and if it pours they will be vindicated.

There's been light rain in Coventry for the last hour. The sky is black.

We have had a lot of heavy rain over the last few days.

This might be a good thing for Swindon as the track would have been very wet and we all know Batchelor and Co don't really like it wet.

Yes, it is drizzling in Leicester - that's my new word for rain. Copyright SCB but I don't care - sue me. :P

Correct decision to call the match off early to save us all travelling. Not much fun standing in the drizzle watching riders try to tackle an already soaked track after all the drizzle since Monday. MInd you it might have been worth the admission fee to see Troy have another whinge.

This Evening and Tonight: Coventry.

Dull and wet this evening, with outbreaks of rain. Remaining cloudy overnight, although the rain will tend to become lighter and less persistent as the night wears on.
