TurnTwo
Thought on this then people? I dont think the rye house reserves will find it as easy to pick up the points like they do at Rye but never the less Brandford will be one to beat! Cant wait for this one just hope the crowds turn up like the Kent match! - would be a great way to reward the efforts put in by Martin Conor and the Sponsors! cityrebel
I can't see rye bringing many fans, especially as the raiders are their second team. It's hard to say which way the crowds will go at eastbourne. Will they improve because the eagles have a decent team or decline because of the lack of close meetings. The coins in the air for me, if I'm honest.
steven101
Gutted i cant mame this one, cant actually see the eagles till june 20 something coz of other arrangements, missing rye, cradley and birmingham, so hoping for a few rain offs! stevec
Another resounding win I should think. Who will be maximum man for this match. My hope is that we have another big victory but with some good racing like the KL match. As for the fans. What do they want? We have a young exciting team of lads that you can tell love their racing and riding for Eastbourne. Their enthusiasm is infectious. For Crying Out Loud people. All you that have moaned and groaned about previous management, promotion and riders get down and see these guys. They are brilliant and we have a team that can seriously win Silverware. cityrebel
After 25 years of top flight racing, it will be hard to convince some eagles fans to give NL a try. Massive home wins do not put bums on seats, close exciting matches do. The tight turns of Arlington are proving a challenge for most of the visiting riders, let's hope for a more competitive meeting this Sunday. Baldy
Happiness is 40-38......old saying from years back but as true now as ever. I had a chat years ago with a chap at Kings Lynn that watching your teams riders finishing by a country mile and racking up massive wins ( as they were at the time) was not good speedway. He disagreed; which he was perfectly right to do but not for me thanks.

sussex bulldog
Monday’s dust storm call off at Rye House has not cast a cloud over this weekend’s clash between the IT First Eagles and the Raiders at Rye House.Eastbourne club chairman Martin Dugard said he had no issues with the Rye House National League promotion and it would be business as usual when the two clubs meet at Arlington on Sunday in the National League (3.30pm).Dugard said “I feel very sorry for Andrew Silver (his opposite number at the Raiders). He did the best he could. We were very vocal about not wanting to ride because it was dangerous.”The meeting was called off after five heats with the Eagles leading 16-14 because the dust clouds made it too dangerous to race.Sunday’s meeting also marks a first return to Arlington for Brendan Johnson who was dropped by the Eagles before a wheel had turned.Dugard said: “I am pleased Brendan now has a team place. He is always welcome at Eastbourne.“It was out fault as a club that we had the average wrong for Bradley Wilson-Dean and had to change our team.“We wish Brendan all the best and hope he will have a safe meeting on Monday.”Sunday will be the Eagles third meeting in the National Trophy, having secured home and away victories against Kent over the Easter holiday.Dugard said: “Rye House will be our toughest challenge yet. Andrew has put together a strong and competitive team who will make us work hard for victory on Sunday.“I will be very surprised if we run away with it like we did against Stoke last week and King’s Lynn before that.”Eastbourne will be at full strength with David Mason returning to the team after illness. Ben91
Fair play to the Eagles they are doing very well so far this year. Would be tempted to go to this, however I'll be watching Stevenage v Southend in the League Two Play Off semi-final on Sunday! Eastbourne will probably win this at reserve around their home patch but look out for Hume and Bowtell, there's a lot of raw potential in them. Good to see no bad blood between the promotions with regard to the Bank Holiday issues, I look forward to being able to see the Eagles around Rye when the meeting is re-staged. catinthehat
well lets see if chessell can count after the first heat as last week he mentioned that Eastbourne wanted the match off because they were loosing, Luke you will see what loosing is after the weekend xxxx and maybe you can go back to school and learn to count. After saying you wanted the track grippy on Saturday you then managed to fall off twice because of it? well done Mr chesell and i thought that BDJ was numpty but compared to you he is a nice guy. I will put my cards on the table and go for BWD 11 points, Andrews 7, Bates 6, Mason 8, Owen 9, Dugard 6, WOOD 10, 57 points for me. Have to say there is a real buzz about the Team and the place this year, Good to see and good to be Eastbourne supporter,

TurnTwo
see i think the whole team are firing now!! David can gate just as good as chessell and i far better than brandford and i think andrews is the most dialed in he has ever been so he they both will take some beating! Mattie and Marc in the middle order will also be very hard to beat on a track like eastbourne where chessell will struggle for sure. and i think its fair to say brendon does bottle it under pressure so i can tsee him going well at eastbourne as he starts to bottle up his nerves and goes through the tapes or slips off. Brad v Brnadford heat 15 i hope!! and georgie set alight the rye track that hed never seen before so i cant see their reserves touching kelsey or georgie i hopoe theyre not reading this as i dont want them to get scared by our trick track - theyve still got to come to arlo more than once! dm 2* 3 3 1 9+1 ra 3 2* 3 2* 1 11+2 mb 1 1* 3 3 8+1 mo 3 2 2* 1 8+1 bwd 3 3 3 3 3 15 gw 3 1 1 3 = 8 kd 2* 1 2* 1 = 6+2 65 again

Put your claws away, the poor numpty ain't that bad! I've advised him to go back to school but he said only if you come with him to brush up on your spelling.
