Steve0
That's how I feel when I look at the robins side this year. Thanks for summing up my emotion. Ok - let's compare: Killer vs Lindgren - no brainer Killer every time although Lindgren needs replacing Howarth vs Wells - I would say 50/50. Ricky seems to have improved of late and Howarth making good progress Morris vs Musielak - Morris - he's on fire at present Zengota vs Karlsson - no brainer Karlsson Batchelor vs Thirsell - no brainer Batchelor Wright vs Blackbird - slight edge to Blackbird - although not at Blunsdon Rose vs Bates - no brainer Rose Swindon it is then

Lindgren v killer - Lindgren with ease . Killer wouldn't get close to what Freddie has achieved in the EL. And as killer hasn't even ridden here this year remains unknown form wise. Wells v howarth - Wells by a comfortable edge. Howarth I still rate tho. Tobby v Morris - plenty more to come from the Pole however Morris is much clearer ahead in the EL right now. PK v zengota - virtually 2 laps ahead in standard for PK Thorsell v batch - no brainer batch Blackbird v Wright - as the top averaged FTR'S from last season Lewis hasn't quite hit those standards yet but when he has been good he has been excellent. Blackbird by a fair distance. Bates v Rose - Lewis is ahead right now but josh has had some very good meetings so far so isn't as far behind at this stage. Rose tho. Wolves Win 4/3 and probably the reason why Swindon are 3 places below Wolves in the table from the same matches.

foreverblue
Poole will struggle to get 1 race winner.........very easy home win.Talking out of your rear end again, we will get several heat winners and may sneak a point out of the meeting
Trees
Holder ought to clean up as a second string. Who'd have thought Holder's average would drop so dramatically so as to enable a potential reshuffle around June ish?! Will it need to drop some more so Janowski and Ward can be the 2 sevens

Take Wells and Howarth, they are about the same standard although, Wells has taken longer to get to this point in his career, Howarth has a slightly better average in both leagues yet you say Wells by a comfortable edge! Then looking at Killer and Lindgren and you say Lindgren with ease - a rider who is CLEARLY on the way down (what were his scores at Swindon and Lakeside this week?) against one of the currently most entertaining riders! And you say I'm biased! Edited May 3, 2015 by Steve0
mdmc82
Talking out of your rear end again, we will get several heat winners and may sneak a point out of the meeting I think Scottyfan has forgot Newman is riding as that for me is likely to be two heat wins in heat 2 and
scottyfan
I think Scottyfan has forgot Newman is riding as that for me is likely to be two heat wins in heat 2 and 12 Not sure he will be as he took a knock in the GP qualifier.
mdmc82
Not sure he will be as he took a knock in the GP qualifier.Hopefully he's fit to ride as never nice to see a rider injured but even if he isn't, I really don't think Poole should be underestimated. They have several riders more than capable of winning races. Wolves have started the season well but they are not beating teams convincingly, usually just by a couple of points. I think this meeting could be very close. If Newman isn't riding then it would be advantage Wolves. However I think Poole should win the return meeting which will balance out the points. tellboy
Only Worrall or Wright to go with by the looks of it if Newman is unavailable.Having said that Wright is in the same meeting as Starke on Monday so would be unavailable aswell. mdmc82
The meeting preview on the Wolves website says Kyle Newman and Josh Bates will both be riding in this meeting. WOLVERHAMPTON: Freddie Lindgren, Jacob Thorssell, Tobiasz Musielak, Ricky Wells, Peter Karlsson, Lewis Blackbird, Josh Bates. POOLE: Maciej Janowski R/R, Davey Watt, Dakota North, Kacper Gomolski, Chris Holder, Lewis Rose, Kyle Newman.
scottyfan
Also says R/R for Magic, but it's supposed to be a guest now I believe.
mdmc82
Also says R/R for Magic, but it's supposed to be a guest now I believe. Where did you read it was a guest? Wouldn't be many suitable guests available as there's only Belle Vue & Swindon not riding. Nicholls average is too high, Batchelor is guesting for Lakeside so it only really leaves Zagar (who doesn't guest) and Kildemand
SteveLyric2
The Poole webmaster originally confirmed r/r but then updated his comments with 'could possibly be a guest'?! Nothing more since and the official preview is not yet up.

Perhaps when you're beloved Robins have managed to catch us up you might, just might have a valid point. scottyfan
Josh Grajczonek is the guest for Magic (courtesy of the Poole website) if he gets there in time from Rye House, otherwise it's R/R. Oh dear oh dear oh dear...it just gets better and better!!!!!! Don't get me wrong, I like Josh, but as an Elite League no1??? As a second string yes...As a heat leader no!!

scottyfan
Any other suggestions wise guy, on a bank holiday monday ? How about an ELITE LEAGUE RIDER not a PREMIER LEAGUE RIDER!!! That would be a start.
Steve0
How about an ELITE LEAGUE RIDER not a PREMIER LEAGUE RIDER!!! That would be a start. Let me think now - which team is he an asset of and which team did he ride for last year and the last month ? Of course, it's Poole - an EL team
T.N.T.
Holder ought to clean up as a second string. Who'd have thought Holder's average would drop so dramatically so as to enable a potential reshuffle around June ish?! This is a weird one as Chris Holder will be at #5 with a 7.00 average according to the press release however the GSA says that Davey Watt now has a 7.08 average despite having not ridden for weeks. So maybe the correct line up should be R/R at 1 and Holder at 2 with Watt at 4 ? Edited May 3, 2015 by T.N.T.
