Game On
Troy Batchelor guests in place of AJ Sarjeant and Boxall will face fitness tests before Monday. Can't see anything other than a home win, with or without help from our no1
liam
Coventry will hit 60 at least. Could be very embarrassing for Lakeside, more than the usual embarrassment at the minute.
full-throttle
Batchelor should be an adequate guest for AJ. Expecting Bees to win by 10. Hans to score 8, Hopefully a decent crowd on a blistering hot Bank Holiday, (we can live in hope)
Woz01
Should be a comfortable enough win.

mdmc82
Sarjeant didn't get to test his fitness today at Glasgow as the meeting was rained off. Hopefully he will be okay to race tomorrow.
mdmc82
Lawson and Bech both scored 12 on their last visits to Brandon with Lakeside. Kennett knows the track well and Batchelor rides it very well. Whilst I think this should be a home win (if all our riders are scoring), I don't think it's going to be the huge win some are predicting. Dornier
Think the Bee`s will win but it won`t be easy. It depends if Hans can get back on the winning trail again. Bee`s by eight.

I think Bees should win easily against a side that is currently struggling for a win at home (after tonking a Swindon Select side) and don't think they will do much around Brandon. SCB
Really? Ellis doesn't have a great Brandon record rither but he's a decent little rider so stupid to count him out. Depends if Boxall rides as he could have the beating of Sarj too. 50-40ish Edited May 3, 2015 by SCB

mdmc82
Good practice for Troy prior to fri. I don't think Batchelor needs practice on our track, usually rides it well anyway. Anyway the track never seems to be the same two weeks running lol.

mdmc82
Congratulations to Coventry Bees on another win and 3 points on the table. Great to see Sarjeant winning his first race back from injury and Harris getting a paid maximum. It's a shame the weather was bad but credit to both teams for getting it to heat 10 Things do look very worrying for Lakeside at the moment as last night they really did look a one man team. When lining up at the gates, Kim was the only one who looked likely to win a race. Batchelor didn't look interested either. Wright did try hard but it just didn't happen. What was with Peter Yorke? He kept announcing Boxall in races and saying it was good he was back even though everybody else in the stadium knew he wasn't riding. Then he said he hoped Lawson was okay after he fell (even though it was Ellis as Lawson wasn't even in that race) Surely it's time to get somebody new in to replace or support him who knows what they are doing.
Steve0
Result was never in doubt although rain probably had some say but well done to the rampant Bees. Alarm bells must be ringing at Lakeside.

I've only just found out thanks to your post it was Wright! I was thinking blimey Boxall has gone right off... now I'm thinking, blimey Wright has gone right off! The man's a joke

THIS. This many times over. He had us all lokoing at each of in a state of confusion many time last night. Also, how many times will a speedway meting get to the magic heat 10 and be called off? Speedway is 15 heats, not 10 and if you're lucky 5 bonus heats. Yes conditions were tricky, but heat 10 was a pretty good heat suggesting heat 11 was hardly likely to be some terrible, dangerous heat and the rain had got now worse so visibility was not likely to have got any worse.
