bolly
Silly comment really I'm sure he wasn't happy that they had just lost the meeting, you can't win with some people , show some emotion you get canned. , don't show any and you get acused of not caring . Looking at updates would Chessel not have bent a better bet in heat 15. Junior Chessell could not race in Ht 15 as he was not in top 3 Rye scorers or a heat leader. Must admit, we all commented on the track before the meeting. Looked like Elmside had a few lorry loads of shale and decided to dump them on the outside of the bends )) Made for interesting racing and a lot of falls for the less experienced riders. We noticed Luke Chessell trying wide lines and being very fast but getting caught out a couple of times. Brendon Johnson not a rider I would have chosen to replace Luke Priest but rode very well last night, well done to him. Alfie Bowtells win in heat 8 was the slowest heat win time I can remember at over 65 seconds, shows how difficult track was for lesser experienced riders. Interesting close meeting, but points dropped by Rye which could have been avoided.
teaboy279
Can I just answer some comments above about Shanes.1) How can you judge a rider after ONE ride ?2) He said before Rye House was not his favourite track !3) He is without doubt the most entertaining rider in this League.4) By getting injured, that without doubt cost Kent the win.And finally I hope he is not too bad as he will be a massive miss for Kings. James has said to me on Facebook last night that he will be there Monday so fingers crossed.
westhamboy66
Personally i think Brendan is an ideal replacement for Luke Priest thought he did ok against Kent. No home advantage whatsoever last night. Considering Raiders spend most of their time race time on a completely bare track as part of a double header it must have come as a bit of shock to see more dirt than their would be for a normal PL meeting. Suppose it was done because of three meetings in three days with little scope for very much track work and poor weather forecast sunday. But at NL level simply too much grip coming out of bends two and especially four. So much so it was bordering on dangerous Good meeting for Kent though, Ben Morley obviously had something to prove but the real eye catcher was how well Danny Ayres has progressed, always looked raw but talented but was top quality last night. If he continues to improve he will surely be worth looking at for a PL reserve berth by the end of the season. Unexpected points dropped but God knows how many points were lost due to Raiders falling when in the points. Regardless of what he said about the track beforehand it is there to be ridden. I don't think his withdrawal made that much of a difference, the Raiders threw a few points away here and there too. The draw was a fair result.

Yeah the ref ballsed up there as no such rule exists in the national league.
