Hel'n'Back
Hope both riders are OK, seems to be the "Sheffield Curse" at the moment

EnglishRoundabout
He must be a target for next year's Rebels side jenga. Especially with him riding locally at Swindon.

Bagpuss
Sheffield just not living up to their potential yet. Several riders underperforming.

mdmc82
Your forgetting they are without Stead and Bellego Garrity scoring more than enough to cover for Bellego. Stead is a big miss There are riders in the team struggling, Burks being one of them.
Bagpuss
Your forgetting they are without Stead and Bellego Fair point but I would suggest that many people expected more from Birks, Sissis and particularly Proctor. One could argue only Compton & Bates of those currently fit have met expectations so far. Stead can be covered when Cook is available but will be missed otherwise. Garrity should replace Bellego adequately and may even keep his place once the Frenchman is fit.

Especially with him riding locally at Swindon. money talks (workington asset) i suppose everyone has their price, just as long as we DONT get josh g in part e/x. done a job on the worky fans last year . unforgivable. so looking forward to the next meeting between the revels and us. kenneth scoring 10 and kyle on a max. should be good for entertainment.. hopefully.. Probably one of the worst visiting riders this season. Sissis wasn't much better as proven by Benji Compton beating him in heat 2.

Sissis wasn't much better as proven by Benji Compton beating him in heat 2. Not too sure what the problem with Ash Birks is at the moment. But with Arthur you have to remember that he had only had around a hand full of competitive rides on a 500 before he came over to race over here. So despite the hype (which came from other fans from other clubs) he is still pretty much a raw novice, so there will be times where people could be disappointed with his performance at away tracks when he rides there. But as we have seen at Sheffield he has shown improvement with every meeting and I think that we will see the best of him next season. Interestingly the word that when we race Rye he got better as the meeting went along a track that is totally different to his home track.
montie
Think Ash had a huge comfort zone last year around the EWR...hes missing that i think, but hes is decent enough to come back to the party im sure...he will be back on form soon

But he was out on the bike for quite sometime after the meeting on Thursday so maybe it is the bike that is the problem.

He spent a summer going round with Shane Parker when he was 15 riding on his own after the main meetings. For his age he looked a good prospect then. He has done more than a few laps at Glasgow. Najjer
could not make last night, what was benjis performance like?Much the same as his previous showings - you can't say he isn't trying as he quite clearly is, but sometimes that just isn't enough as points make prizes as they say.To be fair he was unlucky in heat 8 too when his brother came steaming in and Benji came down on the outside of Sissis. The right decision but still tough. Edited May 3, 2015 by Najjer
Ghosty
Big difference taking laps on your own compared to actually competitive racing. I have every confidence that Sissis will make the grade if he sticks to it. Saw him @ Somerset on Friday he got better with every ride. On Benji Compton, he is trying but he's only 80% up to the mark. If Somerset COULD find an alterative rider that averaged 4 points from reserve you would have the top team in the league!
