vog
This could be a really interesting meeting. Birminghams top 2 have the upper hand, but I would give the edge to Stokes middle order. Reserves will have an interesting battle, and this is one that could go down to the wire. Just hope the weather holds up!

LordoftheShale
Once again I think the Brummies reserves will be the difference in this meeting.
Countershaftcounter
Can't believe for such a new club that this meeting was only put on here one day in advance . Don't they believe in publicity ?
uk_martin
Are you suggesting Brummies_Ste works for the club?
Countershaftcounter
Not at all, i'm just sad that clubs theses days can't seem to grasp that advance publicity could be a good thing. This sort of stuff should be out a week in advance to try to get more local publicity.

uk_martin
Just seen that a notice about the meeting was placed on Facebook at about 9am this morning. That's almost 10 hours notice. What could possibly be wrong with that?

vog
Good idea. Let's stay at home and watch it... To be fair, I'm pretty sure at this point, people will have made their decision on whether to travel or not! It's just a link for those who can't make it for whatever reason. You can't honestly say you have decided not to travel to a meeting solely on the basis that there were updates being provided...

Not me...but there may be people looking for a cheap option or "easy out"...I just think that we make it too easy for people to not bother making the effort any more. I have to admit to a year ago, being in "shall I - shan't I" mode, and in the end watching the Bet365 coverage...To use the election analogy...it's too easy for the "floating voter" not to put their cross in the speedway box these days. This is the place of the whinger and whiner No i think that on here is the last place a maybe speedway convert would look, they'd probably check out their Facebook page, website and twitter accounts……. all of which only mentioned the meeting yesterday. My point stands, to attract new fans one day before is far too late in the day to advertise a meeting.

I don't think a day has gone by over the last week that there hasnt been something about last nights match on the sports pages of the local rag. Also on the local rags website. Brummie Kev
Impressed with Zach again last night, excellent performance. He's really making an impact from reserve now. Edited April 30, 2015 by Brummie Kev
TurnTwo
unfortuantely for birminham once he leaves that reserve spot i think you will be eaqually as weak as the kent team. 1. ellis - okay guaranteed 12 a meeting 2. kirby -3-4 5 at best 3. chapman r/r i cant see more than 5 from this once zachs left reserve 4. zach 5-6 in the main body. 5. perry - will get 10 whereever at worst 6. wilson - i cant see getting any points away maybe 4 on avg at home 7. and unfortunately for banks i cant see him getting more than 3 this season.
