Guest
He's not even any good at trolling. Foxhole....two day Elite League meetings? Camping? Ipswich moving to the Midlands? Bring back Shovlar. You really are coming over as something of an idiot IMO. Nobody said anything about two day Elite meetings - Foxhall Heath was suggested for possible two day speedway events. Preliminary round the first day, major events on the second day. And as for 'Ipswich moving to the Midlands' - just what are you babbling about now. If you are unwell see the doctor!!!! I recall Ipswich fans praising the improvements taking place at Foxhall Heath - I wonder how they like their venue being described - as you have - as a foxhole? And I still wait to see what actual positive part you have ever held n regard to speedway administration or involvement in the sport aside from this forum. He's not even any good at trolling. Depends - if you refer to me - as to what trolling is - usually a term lashed out against another poster if they are winning an argument IMO. Anyway, here's a definition for you to study in regard to tolling - https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Internet_troll Edited August 11, 2015 by Guest
Grand Central
I feel that we are overdue an intervention by the Archbishop of Sunderland. To defend the indefensible, yet again. 'It is his right to post utter drivel. But how dare you point out his madness, John?' I am reminded of the episode of Blackadder where Edmund put his underpants on his head and pencils up his nose to simulate insanity. "Wibble!" . Grand Central
Anyway, here's a definition for you to study in regard to tolling - https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Internet_troll. As definitions go that sounds just about spot on. Now you have successfully diagnosed your own affliction. Are you going to mend your ways? . There's still no explanation as to why on a discussion forum - which this is supposed to be - that if one researches for threads, if the response is acceptable its praised - if the response is not accepted it's deemed as trolling. Seemingly, one cannot win on the BSF?
Grand Central
Gustix ... You, helpfully, offered the definition of a troll. Not me. I happen to agree that it is a pretty accurate summary of some of your own behaviour on this forum. Any further explanations that you require may need more specialist assistance. Guest
.....you come across as a very bitter old man if you don't mind me saying so. If that's your opinion - okay! Those who know me outside the BSF will give a totally different opinion! As they say - 'each to his own'!

Rob B
Nearby camp site. Excellent idea if a stadium stages a two-day meeting. One of the attractions - successful too - at Foxhall Heath when they host their annual car racing Spedeweekend. And the track is well placed centrally in the UK rather in 'northern parts.' Plus the stadium owners have made massive improvements over the past couple of years to the stadium and it is understood these upgrades are ongoing. You need to learn some geography if you think Ipswich is central.

Well the map shows Suffolk - the county for Ipswich as being central for England although I do concede it is rather to the right hand side of the country. Manchester (Belle Vue) on the other hand is top left. http://www.picturesofengland.com/mapofengland/counties-map.html Edited August 11, 2015 by Guest
John Leslie
You need to learn some geography if you think Ipswich is central. I'm sure the fact that Manchester is right slap bang in the centre of Britain, and Ipswich is way out South East in East Anglia is well known to him, but the beauty of trolling is that you could claim that Poole is central Britain, because you don't have to be factual, you just have to talk gibberish and say anything that disagrees with logic. Wibble Wibble.
Ghostwalker
National Stadium or not I just think it's great that a new speedway stadium is being built.
Trees
Good point, well made Ghostwalker! They must believe in the future of British Speedway or why go through all the effort of this stadium 😆 Edited August 11, 2015 by Trees

John Leslie
More drivel from you - take a closer look at the map of England! I'm guessing he's talking to himself there? I'm had a look at the map he posted...He said look for Manchester in the top left corner....yet it says Scotland there.....Does the old confused fool really think Manchester is in Northern Scotland? Gusters...a little clue for you....if you look closer to the middle of your map you'll see somewhere marked "Manchester"...it may look like it says "Wibble" to you, but it really is Manchester... Is there any reason why you continue to make yourself look a prize pillock on here?

Take a look only at what the map shows as England - then you have the correct perspective. If you have a problem your local Specsavers will be open at 9am every shopping day!! OveFundinFan
I am desperately trying to stay out of this one but to reason Suffolk is centre of ENGLAND doesnt sound right to me, Gustix The centre of a circle is in the middle, that is equal distance from the bottom, from the top, from the left and from the right. I hope no one disagrees with that, its logical ok. Now, England is not a circle so its more difficult to determine the centre. However, Suffolk by any stretch of my imagination is not centre of ENGLAND. It might be getting very close if you just look at how far up from the bottom it is, and how far from the top (of ENGLAND) it is, but the other two criteria ie from the left and from the right - well to me it looks obvious it is not far enough in from the right - in fact its on the edge of the right. IMO centre of ENGLAND would perhaps be somewhere about Leicestershire, maybe south Leicestershire. But hey, whats terminology. The government is decentralising some decision making. Where does the government govern from? - London. Now if any one wants to reason that London is centre of the UK, I will try to arrange the men in white coats and white vans to go and round them up! As Ghostwalker says........ a new stadium is being built, thats not stuck in the middle of nowhere (lets not get into a debate as to where the middle of nowhere is, please), its just a few miles from the centre of a major city, with good road, air, and rail access. The fact BVue have got a council (a big council at that) on their side deserves applauds all round. salty
Maybe this article will help.... https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Centre_points_of_the_United_Kingdom You will note that none of the places put forward as the centre of Great Britain (or England), using all the various methods of measurement available, are anywhere near Ipswich.
