Recommended Posts

That's another day of my meagre 20days holiday booked for the Friday.was feeling a bit cheesed off with speedway but with us being back at monmore next year and a ticket for the opening of Bellevue and now the swc I'm even thinking of giving Cardiff another go

As already intimated by the promotion , this is only the first year . They have signed a five year agreement for international meetings.

The World cup is only the start of top class internationals coming Belle Vue's way.

In year two they are putting in a bid for the World Tiddliwinks Championship

I imagine they will be selling Car Park space at inflated prices on World Cup night.

Well, I doubt if "the folks next door" are exactly pleased with losing a tenant. So, sadly it would seem, no need to do them any favours.

hiking up the prices would only inconvenience their own greyhound fans. Imagine turning up for your regular Saturday night at the dogs and finding they've inflated the car park charge because there's a world cup final on next door.

Could be a cheap option for speedway fans....go and park for the greyhound meeting and then wander off next door.

Unless they choose to cancel the greyhound meetings that week, but that wouldn't seem economically sensible.

.

Dishing out some sort of 'voucher' the previous week to 'genuine' greyhound punters may be an option to try to play fair with them.

But I do not expect the GRA will be daft enough to give Speedway fans an easy ride to the cheep option you suggest.

We have a tie up with both the greyhounds and the cinema with regards to extra parking. If you look on goggle earth the cinema carpark across the road is huge, it just needs security patrols on big nights.

That's good news indeed in regard to parking at "next door" to the NSS.

That's good news.

Especially if they are willing to work in tandem on the nights when events are taking place at both Stadiums.
