Rob B
I didn't think track was too bad, seen it far worst at Poole.
Wanderer
And we were weakened too having Richie Worrall in only scoring 2 points! Two engine failures in heat 12 & 13 cost us the win. Don't forget that 1 point from stefan neilson was a huge contribution from 4 rides!

sommelier
Last night was only my second visit to Poole this season, though i enjoyed the meeting, i felt it lacked sparkle. Last seasons team for me was so exciting, the likes of Milik, Pawlicki & Ward. For me, Ward would still be top of my list for the most exciting & entertainment. foreverblue
Well done to the Aces for a much better all-round team performance. Whatever the supposed issues with the track, teams will not win anything if their heat leaders don't reach double figures, however well the support riders are doing. Yet again the Pirates didn't gate - although a little better than against the Bees - and they didn't seem to have anything like the same speed as the Aces. All in all, lucky to get the point!! Anyway, on to Wolves on Monday - Davey Watt returns as a 2nd string and Lewis Rose guests for Starke!! PS. Good to catch up again with Lemo before the meeting - top lad!! That sounds ok but who guests for Magic?
stevebrum
Poole will finish top two, surely its the aces who are your rivals for a place in the playoffs? I have friends who are Aces fans so of course I wish them well. IMO Belle Vue are also your play off rivals and with Poole bound to finish in the top 2, you should perhaps not be wishing Belle Vue too many points. Last Friday's meeting at Lakeside had home win wrote all over it but due to a depleted line up for the hammers, Wolves got a last heat win. Wolves fans celebrated their win so Belle Vue fans deserve to do the same with their draw. As discussed above I always wish the Aces well. Whether they have the ability to pick up more away points tho is debatable. And then you woke up!! If you think the current Wolves team are playoff hopefuls - you are dillusional. More importantly we have more chances than Swindon who already look nailed on fodder. Wolves have started the season well although I would say they look more convincing at Home than away. However I would be concerned that they are only just winning meetings. For example they had to go to a last heat decider at home to Cov & away to Lakeside when both were missing riders. They are not beating teams convincingly. I think the next couple of weeks will give us a better idea when they Face Swindon & Poole. If they can pick up away points gainst these teams or win at home without it being down to the wire then I think nobody can rule them out of the play offs. Matters not how convincing we win matches. If we carry on as we are then we look decent bets for a play off place - the only thing that matters at this stage. Really? Not so sure about that. As long as Wells, Lindgren and PK keep up their current form - I can only see improvements from Thorsell and Museilak especially if the team carry some confidence going forward. Sone people are still looking at teams on paper and ignoring the job being done on track. Which shows up that blinked opinion.
hyderd
Brilliant result for Belle Vue. I think this week has been a turning point for them and they are now showing signs of what they are capable of. I did have my doubts when I noticed Zagar instead of Nicholls in heat 15 but he pulled it off. It was unlucky for Poole to lose Janowski again as he is their star rider. They seem to struggle a bit without him. Well done to the Aces on the result but let's not forget how weakened Poole were with injuries. Had home win all over it with a full strength side, but good on the Aces for taking points off our play off rivals. You can only ride what's put in front of you Steve, and in that respect the Aces were unlucky not to get the win. Zagar's bike problem and a couple of borderline decisions by Dave Robinson that could have gone the other way. Too early for Poole to press the panic button though. Missing Magic big time, especially using Lawson as a guest. Just 10 points from Magic (compared to Lawson's 4) would have got us a 12 point win. Track was poor again with a yard of racing line around the fence. I understand that it was so rough that Kyle snapped a footrest in one race when hitting a rut (bump?). Chris Holders comments at the post match interview spoke (hinted) volumes. Anyway yet again I have to give congratulations to the visitors for a battling performance. Zagar with a classy pass in heat 15 to get the draw, and probably Craig Cook's best ever performance at Poole in the Elite League. Most if not all teams lose a match they could of won if there star rider had of been riding, ie 2 points from r/r when Matej missed the Leicester away meeting, if Matej had of been riding we probably would of won there, we didn't and that's the nature of speedway. PS nice to see some positive posts about B Vue, thanks
TesarRacing
nice to see an unbiased report from a Poole fan and congratulating Belle Vue. One of Pooles biggest issues is the track and quite clearly it's affecting Holder What are regular Poole supporters views on Holders form. Do you think it is the track or something else? Shame to see such a good rider struggling.
hyderd
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=lKxuJ8O1Us4 I think this video pretty much sum's up Darcy Ward around Poole There's only one word to describe him on a bike, brilliant! These's also one word to describe him off a bike, d**kh**d! sorry if I've offended any Darcy fans but that's how I see him.

Nellie
Never mind hasn't ridden for Swindon, he isn't even in their line up yet! Nicholls' average is too high for an away meeting. Edited April 30, 2015 by Nellie

That's what I said - in order to ride for a team, they have to be in your line-up - it's the same!

A rider could be declared in a side without having actually made an appearance, but it's a minor point to be discussing Edit: in all seriousness, having just checked the guest eligibility rule, it only says the guest must be in a current team declaration. Unless I'm missing something, if Swindon's re-declaration is accepted before Monday, he could guest. Edited April 30, 2015 by Nellie
