Poole Pirates Vs Belle Vue Aces 29/4/15

Recommended Posts

I understand and in some respects applaud loyalty to our own assets but if we are going to make something of this season we have to choose the best available to guest for Stead.

I think there are better options out there who are, at the moment, riding better than Richie. I hope I am wrong.

Is there anyone in particular you would choose. Just out of interest.

Nick Morris would have been best bet today.

Obviously lawson for magic makes it a Lil easier for us. But then again lawson so have the beating of worrall easy. Don't think it will be as big as a win for poole thst some aces fans think but poole will win. I'd happily take a point

49-44

Even with their trick track as a massive home advantage, I still feel Belle Vue can come away with at least appoint..

All the replacement issues, because some riders are not available, years ago, both clubs would have gone 'like for like' and bring in their No 8..

Job sorted...... :t:

For tonight I would have chosen from, Morris, Zengota,Bech, Kennett, and Karlsson, with PK being the best option.

From the 1.5.15 using a horses for courses policy and subject to availability and willingness to ride, I would choose from, Schlein, Morris, Zengota, King, Bech, Grajczonek and PK.

So, the forecasted rain arrived on schedule at around 9 am but seems to be going through fairly quickly. All forecasts are now for a dry and even sunny afternoon/evening.

Thanks to Lawson for stepping in at very short notice and he will hopefully be wanting to do much better than his last home guest appearance?!

If it takes a turn for the worse, can you drop me a quick message please, i'm leaving Bristol about 4. Thanks

You are clocking up some miles. Bristol to Peterborough and back, Bristol to Poole and back! All in less than a week!

Yep, was at Swindon last Thursday, Somerset Friday, Wolves on Monday, Poole today, Swindon tomorrow, Plymouth on Friday, Stoke on Saturday & Eastbourne on Sunday. Happy days :D

Assuming he wants guest bookings of course. With the new averages coming into play next week you won't have that many chances I'd imagine.

Pks new average effective next week is still well below steads assuming the latest green sheets are correct. You ate right of course that maybe he doesn't want bookings, as otherwise he would presumably have been guesting a lot rather than schlein, Lawson etc.

I don't understand quite a few odd remarks regarding Richie and rating his ability from Belle Vue fans

What did he wrong last year for you? He rode to his average and above but not below

This year he has one ride so hasn't had as much bike time as some but always gives 100%

And he's a Brit.

I'm with you Bigballs, hopefully Richie will put on a show to remind our management of what he is capable of.

Not necessarily anything wrong with Richie, although his scores in the EL & PL last year and so far this year have not shown the progress some expected. My point is that the are riders under Simon's average who seem to be riding better than Richie and that we should use them if we want to win as many matches as possible.
