King's Lynn V Coventry 29th April

Recommended Posts

Surprised we only lost by 8 esp with one reserve scoring 0, EF on a tactical and a rider unable to count laps.

Kylmakorpi and Garrity more than did their job.

Will need better from Hans and king on Friday.

Top stuff from Rory and NKI. As for Bjerre, oh dear

Why oh why put Rory in 15, he always comes last. Should have been Lambert!

TBF, it didn't matter. You had won the meeting - thats the heat 15 to give to Rory, the one that doesn't matter quite so much. But I must admit, when I saw he'd been picked I thought, "good just have to beat Puk now"

Don't understand bees fans critical of king. He's a 6pt rider, so you'd expect probably 7 @ home and 5 away (maybe less as a hl as does hus average include some meetings as a second string?,)He scored 5 against one of the better teams in the league?

And people whinging about mountain being used,,? I remember juniors being used to replace number ones back in the good old bl days (rob fly replacing s Moran stands out).

Probably a daft question, do guest meeting scores affect riders averages?

Hard meeting for the Bees but they kept plugging away. Had JKs engine not gone and Robson not lost count after 2, we would have got a point. No shame in loosing at Kings Lynn. Better than a draw at home ;)

Another poor ride by Andersen. Hardly riding like a number one. Back to the form he showed for the last two months of 2014.

Yes, now too many inept performances from Hans - his problem is he ain't wearing a Robin on his breast plate.

Time to get rid - come on Horton see the light.

If Hans has a bad meeting people are calling for him to be sacked then if he has a good one he's praised. Hopefully he will have a better one on Friday.

He also guested great for Lakeside so think the Robins comments are a tad childish.

@Hansi_Andersen: Bad night 😟 got it completely wrong in me 1st heat #OnlyMe2Blame 2nd race bike breaks Down 👎🏼 still fantastic by rest http://t.co/7atMLphC7t

I honestly thought the score line would be a lot bigger tonight so good effort by the bees to keep it so close. if Robson hadn't stopped when on 5-1 thinking it was the last lap then score would have been 47-42 which would have meant a point but oh well. Does anybody who was there know why he thought it was lap 4, crazy.

Congratulations on the win to King's Lynn. Sounds like NKI was back to his best.

It is comical reading some posts on here, a bad meeting and its get the rider out, Hans is doing ok, not great but I rather have him than anybody else who could fit in. Forget all his good rides and just concentrate on the bad stuff, that's what the forums about isn't it. Sticking the knife in.

Unfortunately the new system means the top guys meet each other ever race nearly, somebody has to score 1 or 0 I think it's ridiculous the criticism Hans gets. On Monday night he showed true commitment to Coventry in heat 15, he was waiting and ready to race in awful conditions, yeah the result didn't go his way but he was out there I way before the rest. He could have said no thanks but credit him and the others in that heat as they wouldn't have been able to see only a few yards in front of them . Hans could have a Bee, Robin, Or anything on his race suit !! it's his living, doing something he loves so give the man some respect.

Top post 👍 It's great to read something constructive.

Rubbish.Hans is average 6.5 this season, last season he average 8.5. He's not going "OK" thats pretty bad tbf however you chose to dress it up.

I get what you are saying but no rider goes out to lose. Low scores and bike problems must be just as frustrating for the riders. Keep the faith.

Because he deserved it on his brilliant showing tonight. And even though he came last he was in a great race with all four in contention. In fact I thought he took 3rd from Harris and nearly got Kylmakorpi on the line.He was put in heat 15 on merit not what he had done in heat 15s in the past.
