Workington Rusty Harrison Replacement (short Term To He's Fit)

Recommended Posts

With the two reserves we have It would be suicide to run R/R so who is there available to cover for rusty? James Wright has been mentioned, my choice would be anders Thompson who rode for Glasgow last year, any thoughts people??

Have to agree skoobie, it will put a lot of pressure on our two reserves , Rusty is going to be out for a long while and with returning home at the end of the season, could this be enough for him to call time on his speedway career. Speedway can be a cruel sport sometimes

Jacko has said on the BSPA site that we will be using Rider Replacement in the immediate future.

This won't actually be too bad as in May's GS averages, Rusty is 3rd in the averages which means his 4 rides will be taken by Rene Bach, Kyle Howarth, Ricky Wells and 1 of either Barrett/Greaves.

This won't work out too bad and gives the promotion plenty of time to look for a replacement

May possibly run with R/R until the end of May and see what the Sheffield situation with Garrity and Bellego is.

Whatever happens I hope it is only short term and we see Rusty in a Comets bib before the end of the season

In the May averages Rusty has gone up to 6.96, Garrity is 6.75 and Bellego 6.58

think i just had a senior moment there. mr garruty would fit, but is he reliable? come the end of may the averages may change anyhow .

I had't give the May averages a thought Marksman, R/R looks an okay option , gives a bit of breathing space for the promotion :t:
