skoobie
With the two reserves we have It would be suicide to run R/R so who is there available to cover for rusty? James Wright has been mentioned, my choice would be anders Thompson who rode for Glasgow last year, any thoughts people?? Have to agree skoobie, it will put a lot of pressure on our two reserves , Rusty is going to be out for a long while and with returning home at the end of the season, could this be enough for him to call time on his speedway career. Speedway can be a cruel sport sometimes
Marksman
Jacko has said on the BSPA site that we will be using Rider Replacement in the immediate future. This won't actually be too bad as in May's GS averages, Rusty is 3rd in the averages which means his 4 rides will be taken by Rene Bach, Kyle Howarth, Ricky Wells and 1 of either Barrett/Greaves. This won't work out too bad and gives the promotion plenty of time to look for a replacement Edited April 27, 2015 by Marksman
Django
May possibly run with R/R until the end of May and see what the Sheffield situation with Garrity and Bellego is. Â Whatever happens I hope it is only short term and we see Rusty in a Comets bib before the end of the season

comet49
It's a problem for the promotion definitely Edited April 27, 2015 by comet49
Django
Hasn't Garrity signed for Sheffield? Â Only short term until Bellego is fit, one of them will have to drop out which may fit for us

Lord Lucan
I dont believe this, a Workington Comets thread about changing/replacing riders and not a single mention of Tero Aarnio, disgraceful!!

comet49
SOS to Kauko, wonder if he'd come over. Both Bellago and Garrity are decent, think Bellago likes the Sheffield track a lot though and that's partly why they signed him. Seen Garrity years ago at Nortside, stood out but looked a bit reckless.
scaramanga
with so many riders on the injured list r/r might be best option also promotion may be looking longer term and looking for 2 riders and redeclare the team in the future which ever route they go down its best to considor options and not rush in to making a panic buy change
